This was an absolutely wonderful place to camp with dogs. We had six dogs among three people and had such a wonderful time on this property! The dogs were safe and entertained and had plenty of space to run and explore and play. We were able to go and enjoy the visiting goats and the ducks and the chickens. Sarah and her partner were super wonderful and welcoming, and we had a great time renting some of the games they had available.

We had the best time at Summers Pleasant places! Three of us and six dogs, the mostly fenced in property and being away from the road created such a relaxing and stress-free few days. This was such a convenient location, close to convenience stores but having the whole back area of the property felt very private. We didn’t mind the farm animal noises or the other regular rural sounds. It didn’t bother us at all. Visiting with the chickens, and goats was definitely a highlight as well. The kitchen sink and counter space was incredibly helpful and well designed! It was so nice to not have to bring all of that extra gear. We loved being about to have a fire to cook over and cozy up to at night. Summer was very communicative and hospitable, answering all of our questions and accommodating us at her place on such short notice. We can’t wait to come back so the dogs can run free in the field again!

We just had our family reunion here & it was perfect! Very nice & level play area that had a volleyball net already up & it accommodated our Badminton, Corn hole, croquet, bocce ball amongst others. The kids loved running around playing Light Up sq Lazer tag at night too.
Several cubby areas that worked for tents, we also had 2 RV’s & a Sprinter and room for all our cars/trucks.
The kitchen area was bigger & better than expected & 2 picnic tables for us to play games as well.
We all congregated around our RV spot at night for campfire (fire ring since fire ban) & fellowship. We were all up very late, it was so nice not having a curfew!
They let us enjoy their goats, which the kids absolutely loved!
The property is fenced & gated so we could let our dogs off leash with so much room for them to roam & explore.
They had an outhouse too.
The property is easy to get to & not far off of I-5, but you feel like you’re secluded in the woods! It’s perfect
We all can’t wait to come back!

This was our second visit to Pleasant Places, and it was just as great in a little rain this year as it was in the summer heat last year. The kids had a blast exploring in a safe, open area where we never had to worry about traffic or open water, which made it especially stress-free for parents of young kids. The host was so friendly and welcoming, and water was readily available for washing hands and dishes, which made camping easy and comfortable. There’s plenty of space for tents and endless room for field games, giving the kids hours of fun. Ike Kinswa State Park is nearby and worth the short drive for a safe, fun swim day. The property is peaceful, well-kept, and inviting. I recommend bringing battery-powered string lights for around the main camp area—they add a cozy glow in the evenings. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already looking forward to our next trip back!

I have a large group consisting of 4 families that have been struggling to find camping places that are big enough to spread out and feel like we're not on top of others camping at the same place. Standard campsites are too cramped and you never feel like you got to enjoy nature and the beautiful world around us, but rather only the others campers who are way too close! That is where Pleasant Places comes in clutch! Our group absolutely loved it! Plenty of space and the amenities that Summer provides made it an easy week of camping. An open field in the middle allowed for children to play and since we are so secluded we didn't have to worry about being too noisy to others around us. I would 100% recommend this place to others. Awesome location. Can place tents/campers in between tree to keep them shady so they don't get too hot. Summer had a hose for us to get water from so we didn't have to keep running to the store.
Seriously, check out this place! Unless it's the last week of July since that is when we plan to return. lol

There was a really nice open area with spots for tents around and a fire/kitchen area in the trees. We had a great time visiting the goats and sunbathing in the playfield. Definitely recommend this beautiful spot 🙌

We had a wonderful stay at Pleasant Places! We had 10 adults, two kids, and a couple of dogs, and there was plenty of space for all of our tents and equipment! Having our own porta potty was great too. We all enjoyed hanging around the kitchen area/fire pit, and Summer was quick to respond to any questions we had. It was a very peaceful and private location, and we had the best time! We would definitely recommend Pleasant Places for your next group camping trip!

What a cool spot! Owner for a bigger group. There is so much space and cool little nooks to put up tents to keep a little privacy. The kitchen setup was awesome to have! Would love to stay again.

A wonderful spot to go group camping. The rain poured for a lot of our trip but we wouldn't be NW campers if we didn't camp in the rain now and then. Our host put out some rubber mats in the kitchen area so it didn't turn into a muddy mess and we brought a rain tent. The kids didn't care as they spent time running around the field, digging in the mud and visiting the goats. Great spot to get away with friends for a few days.

Lovely, secluded camping spot, great for families. Goats and chickens to look and pet, farm fresh eggs are available for purchase and are great! Conveniently close to town, providing easy access to lakes ideal for fishing and swimming. Great food prep tables and racks for drying. Can't wait to come back and relax!

Summer was an excellent and helpful host. She responded to our questions and needs super fast. The campsite is private and spacious. Great for a large group. The kitchen setup was super handy. My family and friends enjoyed the space and visiting the animals. My dog loved having room to roam! We will likely be back next year for another family camping reunion.

Our group of three extended families (16+ people total!) had a wonderful time at Pleasant Places! We really appreciated the privacy and the lush green spaces - there were lovely and private nooks for our many tents. The kitchen space was a treat, with plenty of room for our tables and stoves.
Since we were there for several days with a large group, we pretty much maxed out the single Portapotty - with a smaller group, it would have been fine. Also, be aware that the picnic tables provided are actually just utility tables with no benches, so bring your own seating.
We'd definitely return with a smaller group. Thanks, Summer!

Best camp spot! Groups big or small… there is room for all. Super safe and homey feeling! This is our second stay, and we can’t wait for our next one. The camp area features a big open field with plenty of room for lawn games and activities, a wonderful outdoor kitchenette and tables under the tree cover as well as a fire pit to enjoy (burn restrictions permitting), lots and lots of room to spread out and plenty of shady spots to put your tent. We absolutely love this spot! Cannot recommend it enough, we feel so safe but still secluded enough to still have the in the woods feel, the kids could run free without worry.

Our recent camping trip and time at Pleasant Places provided an ideal opportunity for us to have fun and create lasting memories with a group of friends. We enjoyed s'mores and campfires, and also participated in fishing and swimming activities at the near by state park! (Worth the 15-20min drive for an awesome swimming/fishing spot). The property itself felt very safe, we had 5 children ranging from 3-16 so this was big! Huge field for croquet, volleyball, corn hole, and lots of running for the kiddos! Not to mention the on-site goats and chickens the kids adored! Summer was so sweet and accommodating! We hope to return and make this a yearly trip for our group!

It was very peaceful and well set up with plenty of room for lots of families to either dry camp in a RV or tent camp. Nice big gathering space for the kitchen area and nice big fire pit too. The only thing that could make this spot any more perfect is if there were water super close by like on the property, but it was a short drive to Mayfield Lake and there’s plenty of other watering holes around. So much room to set up lawn games. We had a great time and saw awesome fireworks from the property. Summer was great and responsive!

It was awesome! The space was huge and there were cute little bunnies running around. There were picnic tables, a sink, a porta potty, a campfire, and a volleyball net. Had a really fun time with my family and will definitely come back.

We loved staying here! It's great for families with plenty of room for kids to run around and still be seen. Super quiet area. The goats were amazing. It rained our whole stay and we still had a great time. We also go to check out waterfalls near by at sulfur creek.

Pleasant Places was absolutely perfect for my brother’s bachelor party! It was beautiful, secluded, well maintained, and full of amenities. We felt spoiled by the kitchen, which was perfect for our elaborate glamping meals. Our host Summer was consistently attentive, friendly, and a joy to be around, and it was great to know she was there if we needed anything. We had a fun time petting the snuggly goats. Every one of the guys said they would gladly return for future trips. Highly recommended!

We had an absolute blast on Summer’s land! It was a group of 6 adults, 10 kids, and 3 dogs with multiple tents and 2 trailers - and there was plenty of space for more. The kids loved the big open field to play and enjoyed visiting the animals frequently throughout our stay (baby chicks hatched while we were there too!) Summer was an amazing host, quick to reply to bring us toilet paper and firewood when we were running low, and was just a genuinely nice person all around. The kids asked her tons of questions about the land and animals, and she took the time to answer all of them. We’re already planning our next stay!

Such a great spot and an even better host! Even though it was muddy this weekend we had such a great time. The kitchen and campfire area are perfect for big groups and outdoor cooking. Plenty of room for multiple trailer camping as we did and having the farm animals available to pet for the kiddos was perfect. I would 100% recommend this spot for big groups. We have had our 3-year-old birthday there the last year now.

This is our second time camping at Summer’s Pleasant Places. We came back because we love the land, like how close it is to fun lakes, and because Summer is a great host. The camping area is spacious and there is lots of room for activities, parking, and tents. The camping area is a good distance away from houses, feels secluded from the neighbors etc. We enjoy using the clean porta potty, and the sink that Summer has set up in the camping area. We would love to come back again next year!

The perfect spot for a family or large group. Very kid friendly. There are spaces for tents, RVs or car camping as well as open areas for activities / games. We could not have asked for a better stay. Summer was incredibly kind and accommodating to our group. The outdoor kitchen area was so great and made food prep and cooking easy. We will be back!

Had a great stay a Pleasant Places! Tons is space to set up camp / multiple camps with lots of privacy. Summer was a gracious host and let the kids in to greet the animals on multiple occasions. Would highly recommend!!

Great camp kitchen already set up with a sink and dishes. Summer is so amazing, very responsive and helpful. She is so welcoming. We had so much fun seeing the goats and brand new baby chicks. Pleasant Places was just what we were looking for. A quiet place with room to spread out with no other sites. Summer was great and gave us a tour and introduced all of the animals to us and kept in touch to make sure we had everything we needed. Our dog loved running around, even though he was a bad boy and got into the field with the goats. The kitchen had everything we needed!
Overall, a great place and a fun camp site! The kids had bikes and rode around and visited the animals.
