This is a beautiful little island in the middle of the lower Columbia River. It’s a good location to Birdwatch,boat, paddle, and fish. Take the last running ferry from Oregon to the island. The nearest town Cathlamet Washington is accross the bridge and is small and charming. We are a forming mini community so come check us out. We intend to offer yoga and meditation, organic farming, and cooking and sharing meals together.The beauty of the Lower Columbia River can best be appreciated by boating or paddling (or sailing) kayaks, and there are several spots to put in very close by. One is on Puget Island and another across the bridge in Cathlamet at the marina. Please consider reaching out to us about the possibility of contributing to preparation of a communal meal with us to feel a part of our “family”.
