Great base camp where the mountains meet the sea on the Olympic Peninsula. So many great sights in a short distance from camp. Salt creek recreation area is a short 3 miles away, beautiful views of the Straits of Juan de Fuca. NEW SHOWER on site!!! Tide pools to explore and WW2 bunkers. Striped peak trailhead offers panoramic views. Spruce Railroad trail to Devils punchbowl is 3 miles away as well as Log Cabin Resort. The resort offers paddle boats and kayaks for rent. (Closed for winter months) A restaurant and beautiful views of Lake Crescent await you. Hurricane Ridge visitor center is 16 miles away explore the glaciers of the Olympic mountains. Check out the Joyce General store for all your needs including wood for the fire and a laundry mat within 1 mile from the property. 2 night min stay in the RV no fireworks on property. No pets allowed in the RV RV has toilet, NEW OUTDOOR SHOWER, all bedding, comfy beds, dishes, cooking and cleaning supplies. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, 1 gallon drinking water and instant oatmeal are supplied. corn hole, charcoal bbq (not during burn ban), picnic tables, small zip line, rope swing, tire swing, port a potty, and fire pit are all in the communal area. During burn bans a propane fire ( included) is supplied in the firepit communal area only. 4 people per spot with a 5.00 charge per night for each additional up to max 6 people per site. please go to extras for the charge pick a unit per person per night. 1 car per site 5.00 charge per car per night max 2. please pay thru the extras.

Site 9 has a picnic table at site. Great base camp where the mountains meet the sea on the Olympic Peninsula. So many great sights in a short distance from camp. A restaurant and beautiful views of Lake Crescent await you. Hurricane Ridge visitor center is 16 miles away explore the glaciers of the Olympic mountains. The tent areas are Grassy with cedar trees near by. 5-9 are in the field and are drive in.  Sites are a good distance from each other. Port a potty, Communal picnic tables and fire pit on the property. Check out the Joyce General store for all your needs including wood for the fire and a laundry mat within 1 mile from the property. During fire ban only propane pits are allowed in the communal area only and not supplied pictures of the tent and chairs are for perspective not included in rental. 2 tents maximum in each site. if you have 2 it is with a 10.00 fee per night. Pick a unit per night to pay. 1 car per site. additional cars are 5.00 per day. pick a unit per day to pay for extra car. New outside shower is located clise to port a potties. No animals allowed in shower. Water is hot so no unsupervised children in shower. Eight gallon hot water tank, so you should be able to get a five minute shower If you conserve. Please take all your belongings with you. ie.. soap etc. 3 dog max at each site Wash station is located in between site 6 and 7 please shut off water when done. during fireban propane fires are allowed in the communal area in the fire pit only.

Loved the spot, and Teresa is a great host! The bathroom was clean during our stay and the shower was nice, though a bit chilly (we couldn’t figure out the hot water). The neighboring rooster was a very reliable alarm clock, so take advantage of the ear plugs Teresa provides if you want to sleep in. The communal fire pit wasn’t available during our stay but I’m not sure we would have used it anyway. Some great hikes nearby and it’s a convenient distance from Port Angeles!

Great location for exploring the Olympic Park and surrounding areas. Lots of space for each site. Picknic tables in each site. The new outdoor shower was perfect and greatly appreciated. Portalettes were clean and easily accessible.

My husband and I loved staying here. Perfect spot to be able to explore the Olympic National Park. Teresa was super friendly and gave us suggestions on places to visit. The RV was super comfortable and outdoor shower was nice. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

I had a lovely time camping on Teresa's land. The directions were clear and I appreciated that she sent me a video of exactly where my site was. It was about 30 minutes to Port Angeles. I liked the quiet.

This spot was very nice and well maintained! The bathrooms were clean, there were lots of amenities to enjoy, and Teresa was very kind and welcoming throughout the entire stay. I would highly recommend!

Great spot close to the Lake Crescent/ Port Angeles area. We loved the hot shower and spacious sites. Host was kind enough to leave ear plugs for the eager roosters surrounding the property. :)

This hip camp had the best shower that we experienced on our whole trip- and we stayed in hotels as well as camping. It was wonderful after a strenuous hike. The camp was well thought out with extras like games and a zip line. Teresa even had her personal propane firepit ready to fire up if we wanted to use it (since there was a burn ban in effect.) We were very thankful to come across this Hipcamp. An added extra was we had Wi-Fi to further plan our trip.

Very easy to find. Teresa was so accommodating. Our boys had fun on the zipline. They are still small and needed help to get on and zip. The yard toys kept them entertained. The tire swing is by a campsite and it’s not easy to play on. The rope is very sharp and prickly. We stayed in the RV. It had everything we needed. The beds are all comfortable. The pull out couch is a little short for an adult to sleep on but still comfortable. My kids enjoyed seeing bunny poop and then finding the bunny around camp. The outdoor shower was refreshing and with a warning to be quick from my husband I actually felt like I had plenty of time with hot water. So nice to feel clean and have so much room to move around. The portable toilets were very clean. Thank you Teresa for opening your land to us travelers. We would absolutely stay again.

Cute little spot just outside of port Angeles. Sites were very clearly marked and Teresa sends very clear instructions ahead of time that help you know where to drive to find your exact spot easily. Communal space has lots of toys and games for the little ones and a propane fire pit to use during burn bans. Not a lot of trees/vegetation between sites, so of you're looking for privacy, this might not be the place for you. But if you prefer meeting your neighbors and sharing some smores, this is absolutely the spot! Also, I have never seen cleaner port-a-potties ever! And the new shower was beautiful, clean, and felt like a luxury after a few days on the road. Highly recommend!

Great space, knowledgable owner. The location was great for access to Olympic park. Facilities were clean. Our camping spot is nice and secluded. Deers wandering around and generally nice and quiet. Really enjoyed our stay.

Teresa’s land was a great spot for a quick tent stay close to the Olympic National Park. The port-a-potties were clean and well-stocked and the grounds were well kept. Teresa was very communicative and helpful with directions about finding the location and the site upon arrival. Would definitely stay here again.
