Site #90 - Spacious and Covered
We loved staying at the Crescent Beach RV Park. We were in the area for the GOAT 50K Trail Race, and being a 6-minute drive from the morning bus shuttle was awesome (town of Joyce)!
Site #90 doesn't have a view of the ocean, but it's the best spot due to privacy and the very large space. Many of the other spots are really on top of each other with no privacy. Site #90 could accommodate 4 tents if needed, and the trees were great when it sprinkled and made good wind cover. We were a 20-second walk to the beach, which was fabulous, and offered perfect white noise to sleep to. We also loved exploring the Salt Creek Recreation area (a 3-minute drive up the road) to see the WWII bunkers, hike the great trail system, and do awesome tide pooling. Pro Tip: You can watch the sunset from the day-use area of Tongue Point.
Folks had mentioned a long walk to the restrooms, but we had a porta-potty very nearby. The flush toilets and showers are a distance away, however. Pre-trip communication was perfect, and we were never bothered the entire time we stayed. Allowing propane fire pits is awesome during the wood-fire ban.
