Great first time Hipcamp experience. Location is lovely, amazing view of stars at night, quiet, close to hiking but also close to stores if you forget anything. The camp was well set up and having firewood and fresh eggs was handy! Easy and friendly communication with hosts.

This was such a wonderful site snd the hosts were so amazing! The site itself has an excellent firepit lined with rock bricks, so it’s very blocked from the wind and safe. There’s also a grill, as ash bucket, a trash bucket, four benches and a table with four chairs. The area is so peaceful, you can’t hear any cars or roadways, and the large open area in the middle of the trees is perfect for star gazing:)
The hosts themselves are very kind; Phil came to check on us and gave us great information about the local area. Then, when our car battery died, Phil came to jump it, no problem. Such a lifesaver! We would definitely come back to explore the nearby area and stay here again:)

We absolutely loved our stay at Victoria and Phil’s campsite. It felt very secluded despite being 10 minutes away from hiking trails, breweries, and wineries. The campsite was clean and well equipped with benches, a table, a fire pit, and a charcoal grill. The farm fresh eggs were delicious! We heard the dogs barking as mentioned in the site listing, but it sounded very far off and never bothered us. We will definitely be staying here again!

Good level site on a hillside. It drained nicely after a rain. Fire out and benches are a nice amenity. Far away but close to some great towns. No cell service but that was always really nice. Phil stopped by to say hello. Great stay.

Great spot, less than 10 minutes from the AT. They provided easy access to wood and fire starters and we used a bundle that we pre-purchased online. The table and benches were great too!

We had a great time on our first camping trip with our young daughter. The spot was set up nicely and it was quiet and peaceful. The eggs from Victoria and Phil’s farm were amazing, highly recommended! Overall it was a very good experience.

We had a great experience at this very private and peaceful camp for our campers maiden voyage. The site was easily found and the hosts had everything set up for our arrival with a firewood bundle and delicious farm fresh eggs we cooked up for breakfast! Hope to come back soon again!

This camping spot was absolutely perfect! The feeling of having a space all to ourselves was wonderful. It was quiet and peaceful and we all had an amazing time. The fire ring was perfect for Marshmallow roasting and campfire story telling. 100 out of 100! Will def be back.

We loved camping here and can’t wait to go back! There was a lot of space to spread out, plenty of room for multiple tents if needed. It was nice and quiet all night, we slept great! Victoria and Phil were wonderful hosts, they were quick to respond and Phil helped us out the morning we were leaving when our truck battery died. It was nice chatting while waiting for the battery to charge, the help was very much appreciated!! I highly recommend this spot for a peaceful camping trip.

This hipcamp spot is just as described. It's a large enclosed space that feels private and secluded, more than any state park could ever be. Great for our dog to play ball and lounge around. It's also peaceful as the name suggests. You can hear the leaves rustling when the wind blows, gaze at stars in the clearing, and have an amazing bonfire in the huge pit.
There is a storage chest stocked with extra wood and firestarters (at reasonable prices), trash bins, benches, table, and chairs on site as well as extras add ons available online.
Purceville and Berry ville has clusters of retail 10 minutes away. Wineries, breweries all add to the charm of the area.

This was a great site if you want to be in nature but not around a bunch of other loud campers :) Beautiful and well equipped with a fire ring, grill, table, chair. Loved the option to order eggs from the farm! And they had extra firewood /firestarters available too.
We did tent camping, but there is no running water or toilet so be prepared! Also note you can hear the farm animals / dogs / machinery (though they are distant and not visible).

My husband and I had a great time on Victoria and Phil’s land! Even though there are homes nearby, it feels very private and you are set away from them and blocked with lots of trees and a few banks. It was a very relaxing spot. There are lots of wildlife and farm noises (that doesn’t bother us). The ground does have a lot of dust/dirt patches that turned to pretty hectic mud due to us being there over a rainy weekend, but it didn’t stop us from having a great time. Just had to wipe up a few extra times. The grill and fire pit were also great to have - extra comfort in the outdoors. Thank you both so much!
