Perfect little a-frame with a queen size bed. Bring your own sheets and blankets and please clean up after yourself! There is plenty of wood through the woods. Build a fire wherever you like. A-frame is shelter only. Bring a generator if you want power! There are two other tent/RV camp sites on the property so there may be other guests. Learn more about this land: Welcome to Mechum’s Retreat! You’ll love staying in this beautiful and peaceful setting that is close to Charlottesville, but tucked in the woods. There is a stream with a waterfall on the property and you can walk to the Mechum’s River to float or fish! Ridge Rd is also within walking distance and it’s 4 miles from stop sign to stop sign. It’s a great walking, running or biking road! Glass House Vineyard is nearby and a great place to visit! Bring your generator as the a-frame has a mini-split for heat/ac as well as lights and outlets.
