Near Grayson Highlands State Park and Virginia Creeper Trail Glamping perfection in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia. Sleep in a brand new Happier Camper set up for 2 adults and one child. Enjoy our bathhouse fitted with a kitchenette, real toilet, and a hot shower. Camper and picnic table are protected from elements by bathhouse. Explore our 23 acres of mtn property and 2000 feet of creek frontage. Room for extra tent, 2 extra campers hookups for $50/camper/night. Appalachian Trail, Grayson Highlands State Park, top of Va Creeper Trail within a few miles.Hit pause and escape the digital world on 23 private acres. Our 2021 Happier Camper luxury RV sleeps two adults and one child. See rules and details below. Additional guests may tent camp for $12 per guest/night. 2 additional hookups for smaller RVs provided for $50/night Bring your own sleeping bags, pillows, and bath towels. We provide electric blankets and a space heater. REPEAT: We DO NOT provide blankets, sheets, pillows, or towels. NO PETS OR SHOES INSIDE CAMPER. You must have an alternative sleeping arrangement for your dog, and you must have a plan for shoes, ie flip flops, slippers, etc. Evidence of a pet inside the camper will incur a $350 fee. No exceptions. Our RV shelter does provide a REAL TOILET, a real shower, and a kitchenette with: -a sink that we salvaged from the old house -a small fridge/freezer -an induction hot plate for easy cooking -an electric kettle -a french press. Enjoy your meals on the picnic table under the shelter. Listen to the sound of the creek as you relax under the sky. We provide two Adirondack chairs with foot rests near the fire pit. We DO NOT provide firewood. Camper and bathhouse are complete with electrical receptacles and USB ports to keep your devices charged while you retreat from the world.

We loved our stay at Laurel Hill Haven! It was so comfortable and so convenient having running water for cooking and dishes. The kids had a great time running around and playing in the field and down at the creek. We also had a great day at Grayson Highlands. Missy was very responsive. We will likely be back again! What a great find! Thank you for sharing your special space.

We absolutely loved this camping spot! Had everything we needed, and it was wonderful having a kitchen and shower. We had our dogs with us so we camped in our tent instead of using the provided camper (no pets allowed in the camper) and there was plenty of room to setup the tent and enjoy the amenities. Can't wait to return!

Absolutely loved staying in the camper. Its very cozy and the shower and kitchen are great. Being close to Grayson Highlands is definitely a plus. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved this hipcamp! Missy was a fantastic host. The property is lovely, and the camper is cozy and comfortable and modern. It was so nice to have great amenities like a kitchenette, shower, and toilet, too. Great location for hiking in Grayson Highlands.

Laurel Hill was our first Hip Camp experience and it was terrific! I can't imagine how it could have been HIPPER! Missy is a thoughtful and conscientious host. We hope to come back!

Second time and still in love with this area! We love Grayson Highlands and this location is so close to the park. A great place to jump off from or just enjoy a stay in a quiet and beautiful location. So happy to be back and will do it again. Sweet little place!

This was such a peaceful glamping spot! My friend and I stayed here the night before hiking at Grayson Highland state park and it was perfect. Everything was clean and comfortable, and it was so close to the park.

Such a cool unique spot… we just stayed for a night but loved Missy’s camper set-up. Nice to have all the comforts (bathroom, shower, lil kitchen) with a camping feel. Very lovely!

Beautiful and private spot to get away! Close to Grayson Highlands and other area adventures. The host/hostess have created a tranquil environment with everything you need and nothing you don’t. We loved our stay! Highly recommend!

Budget friendly Glamping

Loved Missy’s place, great camp for someone who want yo be away from the city but need to have a basic comfort such as shower, toilet and mini kitchen. Warm blankets and heat fan were extremely helpful with the weather of 46F and rain pouring outside, No nearby neighbor, 15 min down to charming historic district in Lancaster NC for night out, Missy provided seasonings set up, 2 small pans, grill net, 2 small mugs, silverware, kettle ad small electric stole Hot water is present, bring you shampoo ad other stuff 30-45 mi away there is Walmart so you buy anything you need Overall great place, can’t wait to come back

Missy's place is awesome! the settign is just the perfect balance between the camping experience and comfort. It has everything we needed for cooking and getting comfy and rest after an all day adventure. The location is also great with lots of places to explore around! Just the perfect escape for my mom, me and my sister.
