Hosted by Rabah · King George, Virginia
We are a family farm with goats, chickens, two donkeys, and cattle part of the year. Located in the rolling pastures of King George County, VA—the gateway to the Northern Neck—our farm offers a peaceful country escape.
Guests can enjoy fishing in our pond, walking the property, and petting the animals. We’re just 20 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg, 11 miles from Caledon State Park, and only minutes from the Hopyard public boat launch on the Rappahannock River.
The Dahlgren Railroad Heritage Trail, a 16-mile rails-to-trails system, is right on our road. Plus, a local winery just five minutes away welcomes visitors during the season. The site is situated in the middle of the property near our Hay barn. Plenty of flat ground. It’s a good spot for sunrise and sunsets. There is shade during the second half of the day if you post up on the edge of the trees. There’s a nearby path that goes down to the fishing pond. There are no hookups of any kind on our property so guests must be self contained. We do have hydrants to refill water but not at the campsite.
