Great camping spot all to yourself and cant beat the price. Shed was a nice perk for keeping everything dry and could sleep 4 comfortably.
Disc golf course wasn’t really playable as the underbrush/grass was really overgrown 6ft in some spots. Would benefit from some landscaping and enclosing the soffits on the shed. The porch light attracted bugs to enter through the roof at night.
Still a great spot for the price in a nice quiet area

Michael’s place was excellent. Having the shelter was a definite perk. Firewood was conveniently located by the fire pit and a handy swing grill grate over the fire pit makes cooking over open flame a breeze. Everything was clean well prepared for easy camping set up. There is a house on either ends of the wooded lot but you can hardly see them. I still felt privacy but also safe knowing if something happened I could reach someone within walking distance. The site is nicely cleared and mulched surrounded by a field of wildflowers and mature woods. There is a road on the other side of the woods, although I could hear some cars going by, it is a back road so not a busy highway or anything and it was more like white noise to me. I slept very peacefully. The site is conveniently located between Massanutten and Harrisonburg, on a back road not too far off the main highway. It was a beautiful drive through the country. I look forward to returning to the site again in the future.

Excellent spot especially for the price. The grill with the swinging grate is great for cooking. Access to the shelter is nice.

It was a little difficult to find. Only way I knew I was in the right spot was from pictures online. However they are building a new addition to the site which isn't in the pictures. This should be an rv only site. As it is not very private. Not private enough to set up a tent or use the restroom as a dispersed camper. In the morning I had a guy looking at me from the house next door. He then proceeded to use a chainsaw at 9 am.

Stayed on Michael’s property after a snow storm, but we needed somewhere convenient for the night, and this did the trick! The ground was covered in half a foot of snow, but we found a robust fire ring and a solid picnic table. In the winter, you can see other houses and roads, but it was extremely quiet. Michael was amazing and super responsive, even though we only booked the place the day before. Can’t really say much else due to the blanket of snow, but we certainly got what we came for!

The spot met our needs for a quick overnight stay next to Harrisonburg. Nice cycling in the area. As others have mentioned, the spot is close to a nearby road with cars passing but it did not impact us much. Having the picnic table and fire pit was a nice amenity. Michael had firewood available which was GREAT! Overall, good spot for the price and met our needs!

The site was a fine halfway stop on our trip to the New River Gorge, but it isn't a destination. In other words, I would recommend it to other travelers who need a last minute place to sleep, but if you want an idyllic, peaceful site to spend your weekend, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Secluded private campsite 5 minutes from western slope bike trail. Hard to beat and the price is excellent. Fire pit was a great addition and just enough level ground for a sprinter. We will be back.

Everything was great and as expected! Table, firepit, water, easy access; not much else you could ask for camping. You will hear a few cars and be able to see some near by houses, but it's quiet and peaceful overall and I felt more than safe and private. We drank the water and didn't die. Disc golf was a great between other activities, just bring your own discs. More than appreciated the firewood also! Two mulch tent "pads" so you have choices; recommend using the tent pad near the firepit if you want longer morning shade. The only thing to note is the lot is clear so you'll have quite a bit of afternoon/evening sun, just plan accordingly with an umbrella or canopy if you want to hang out in the shade. For the price in this area close to great mountain biking trails and about 15 min. to downtown Hburg it is a great deal. Will definitely be back again.

Directions were clear and Michael's communication was amazing. However, the site to camp was uneven, and tons of glass. I let him know. I picked up as much as I could. Nit too crazy about the privacy or the clear vision of an intersection which is used by many. Overall, I would not go back and sorry, I would not recommend this as a nice place to stay.

This was a perfect budget-friendly spot to spend a night. Good-quality firewood provided and a nice fire ring. Felt reasonably secluded but was conveniently located. It’s tough to find places to camp in VA at the price point offered here. Would visit again!

Great location if you need a place to stay near Massanutten Western Slope. Secluded spot not far off the road. Good spot for tent camping or small RV. Picnic bench and fire pit. Michael had firewood ready to go!

This was a quick impromptu camping trip. Reserved at Noon arrived at 2 pm. Growimg up in Keezletown I was excited to go. The site had a nice fire pit and picnic table area. We had a sixteen ft pull along camper. There is two entrances to pull straight through without any issues. We were looking for a private area to let our pups run and play ball. The walking trail, frisbee golf and areas around the campsite was grown up which made us nervous with the dogs, ticks and snakes, but understandably we've had a lot of rain recently. If you are looking for isolated this is not the place. There is lots of road traffic considering the location and other dwellings can be seen from the property. However, it was perfect for our last minute decision and the price. Michael was also quick to respond when I forgot to write down the address as well. I recommend for a quick getaway.
