Come camp with us on our peaceful working farm near Smith Mountain Lake! This is a true primitive camping experience—perfect for those looking to unplug, slow down, and enjoy the simple beauty of rural life. You’ll be staying on open farmland surrounded by rolling views, fresh air, and the sounds of nature. Our farm is home to Highland cows, sheep, chickens, and other friendly animals you’re welcome to observe during your stay (they’re a guest favorite!). In late summer, we grow seasonal vegetables and flowers right here on the property, and we’re happy to share what’s available when in season—there’s nothing quite like enjoying food and blooms straight from the farm. Please note: this is a primitive site with no hookups or amenities, so you’ll need to bring all your own camping gear and supplies. It’s a great fit for self-sufficient campers who appreciate a quiet, low-key setting. We’re just a short drive from Smith Mountain Lake if you’d like to explore the water, but many guests find they’re happiest staying put—relaxing by the campfire, stargazing, and soaking in the calm of the countryside. We are one street away from the boat launch. We look forward to hosting you!
