Edom Springs is a scenic farm in one of the most beautiful corners of the Shenandoah Valley. Guest accommodations include a renovated spring house with a spacious porch and a cozy vintage camper with a view of the meadows. Although we are fairly new to Hipcamp, we have hosted around 1000 stays on the farm through Airbnb, and you're welcome to read our reviews there: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/18565726 https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/50804248The Meadowlark is a cozy retro camper overlooking the pond and meadows of Edom Springs farm in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. It's a perfect spot for a parent-child "camping" trip, a solo retreat, a romantic getaway, or a friends get-together. The camper has a mini-fridge, gas stove and oven, a table that converts into a twin bed, and a couch-size bed. The camper does not have running water; it is paired with a bathroom in the nearby barn -- clawfoot tub, low-flush composting toilet, double sink, and fluffy towels. And a barn kitchenette with microwave, running water, and mini-fridge. Outside the camper is a spacious deck and fire pit -- offering views of the sunrise over Massanutten Mountain, starry skies when they're clear, and sometimes cows and calves grazing on the other side of the fence. Lucky guests may see a great blue heron, a belted kingfisher, or a bald eagle (Ebird list here: https://ebird.org/hotspot/L6456835/bird-list). Nights are quiet, and once in a while you may hear a barn owl, a fox, or coyotes in the distance.
