There are separate campsites available. Rodborough Vale is 600 acres with a combination of creek flats, native bushland and rocky volcanic outcrops. A working sheep property with some cropping, It is home to the well known Rodvale Border Leicester Stud. Farming in harmony with the native fauna and flora, guests may be able to spot many native species including platypus, wedge tail eagles, kookaburra and many more. Fronting Deep Creek, guests have access to fishing or just sit and listen to the crystal clear water meandering past the campsites. The farm borders Tullaroop Reservoir which is only a ten minute walk from most campsites, there you can find public toilets and picnic areas it is well known for its fly fishing for trout. The boat ramp is around 400m from the front gate and guests are welcome to leave vehicles and trailers on the property for convenience. Note : The reservoir is currently only open to electric powered boats and canoes. Dogs are welcome but must be very well behaved around sheep. Flushing toilet available at the shearing shed. Good access for caravans and large RV's. Local attractions are the historic towns of Maldon, Clunes, Avoca and Dunolly all part of the Central Goldfields.

Island Bend

We absolutely loved camping in this picture perfect, tranquil corner of Rodborough Vale. We could see the shearing shed across the paddocks but this grassy site right by the river could have been miles from anyone. We were completely secluded and once Marc had welcomed us, we didn’t see anybody, even though all the sites were booked. We have no hesitation in recommending Rodborough Vale - Island Bend site to others to enjoy.

The Long Hole

Beautiful sunsets

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Long Hole site on this working farm. It is a very private and peaceful spot alongside the creek—flat and level with a firepit. Mark was a welcoming and genial host. Wonderful sunsets and friendly stock. We will certainly recommend it. Thank you very much Mark for a great stay.

Rodborough Vale was amazing! The property was so peaceful and well maintained. Mark was very friendly and hospitable. The kids loved all the animals!
