This is a true gem! We spent 2 nights there and absolutely loved it. The hosts were incredibly nice and helpful, and they provided everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed sitting by the fire, cooking on the excellent camping stove that was provided, enjoying the lovely sauna, taking long walks on the property, and hiking up Mt Ascutney nearby. The property is truly gorgeous (the pictures on the listing really don't do it justice) and very peaceful. Having the guest bathroom at our disposal was great too. We'll probably visit again.

The Studio - RV Style!
We had a great time here watching the stars by the fire and enjoying the claw foot tub in the morning.
The Studio was wonderful; cozy and relaxing (even in a Nor’easter!) The outdoor kitchen was great to have for making dinner and breakfast. Julie was a welcoming and friendly host.
We’ll be back next time we’re in the area!

The cabin and property were so lovely! The outdoor kitchen area and fire ring made this glamping experience a perfect mix of rustic and ease. The outdoor shower was amazing and we loved our daily walks through their many trails on their land. The hosts are lovely people!

Julie and Frank were wonderful hosts who are happy to share their beautiful slice of land nested in the hills of Chester, VT.
As an avid fan of 'outdoor showers' theirs gets 5 stars from me and The Studio is both cozy and reprieve from Vermont's morning dew that might otherwise decorate a tent or tarp.
The place and experience were already wonderful and then Julie shared a couple delicious zucchini muffins..which sealed the deal: I will be back. : D
Highly recommend!

The Studio - RV Style!
Frank and Julie were excellent hosts. Very friendly and helpful. There was even a grill I could use for cooking meals.
I heartily recommend this Hipcamp.
Frank and Julie were the picture of hospitality! They were engaging to talk to, so curious about our lives, kind, and great at checking in about miscellaneous needs we might have (like do we have enough camp supplies, etc).
The Studio is so precious as is the beautiful gravel road their property is on, their sweet lab, Skye, and the stars at night! I loved this getaway -- thanks Frank and Julie
Had a wonderful stay! Frank & Julie were such kind and accommodating hosts. Their site was beautiful and peaceful. So many great things including:
•a starlit campfire
•time in the sauna
•nature trails
•saw a porcupine
•lots to do nearby
The hosts gave us local recommendations that we tried and enjoyed. We even got a little departing surprise from them! Will definitely be back again!!! :)
We arrived after dark and Frank said we could actually stay in the studio if wanted so we wouldn’t have to set up our tent. We took him up on the offer and stayed in there both nights. It was in the 30s both nights so we would’ve been a little more chilly if we had rented. The studio is a Beautiful space created with love and intention. This property is magic. Native habitat for birds, butterflies, and all living creatures. We saw a barred owl and porcupine climb up their apple tree. Frank and Julie are incredibly kind people who just want to share their land and creations with others. A great stay! Bonus they have a great old black lab named Sky who is as sweet as can be.
Before diving back into the grind, we snuck away for one last summer retreat—and the Studio delivered.
Secluded yet convenient: It felt like cabin camping, but with real home comforts (think hot showers and no hole-digging required). The Studio was 15 minutes from a supermarket, 5 minutes from a local market, and just 3 minutes from fresh eggs and frozen meat that made our mouths water.
Natural entertainment: We nibbled wild blackberries along the property trails, stepped into the barrel sauna for a sweat session with a hit of aromatherapy bliss (ahhh), and watched flames dance in the fire pit while stars twinkled overhead. Mornings came with surround-sound birdsong and a picture window framing trees doing their best shimmy show.
Hospitable hosts: Missing camping skills? No problem—the hosts had us covered. They shared spot-on local recommendations tailored to our interests and left thoughtful surprises (which we’ll let you discover for yourself).
This place definitely earned a spot on our repeat list.
