A perfect place to find some peace and quiet. The small wood burning stove, the short walk to the Haystack Mountain trail, streams abound - what else could you want?!

Erin’s Hipcamp is great. Remote and very well loved/ cared for. We visited in November but are itching to give it a try in the summer too. Highly recommend

Staying in Oma’s cabin was beautiful. The cabin feels handmade down to the smallest detail. You can feel the hosts’ Erin and Philip’s care in everything about the place. Excellent kitchen set up with everything necessary to cook meals and clean up. The stove kept the cabin warm and comfortable when it was cold and windy outside. Luna the dog came by to say hi. Fire pit is great for having a fire under the stars. Walking distance to a great hiking trail. Really just a perfect off-grid cabin in the woods.

Oma's cabin is an amazing off grid retreat to completely unplug and reset! Very well maintained with everything you need aside from food! And well you can head to Mach's for anything food related, you won't be disappointed! This spot will be on rotation hopefully for years to come! Thanks again for the great weekend!

Staying at Oma's Cabin was a wonderful experience! My girlfriend and I had great time making food, getting cozy, and eating by the fire. The location is beautiful and the provided amenities were so convenient. Make sure to hike Haystack Mountain while you're there! Crazy views!

We had a great time at Erin's cabin. Perfect place if you are looking to get away, the cabin is very private. Luna paid us a visit and was the highlight of our Trip, I would definitely recommend staying here

Oma's Cabin is an ideal place to decompress. The setting is private and serene, the cabin is comfortable and thoughtfully outfitted, and the hosts are incredible.

Amazing cabin in an even more amazing location! A great place to disconnect and reconnect with nature. The cabin was clean and comfortable and the hosts were very kind, welcoming and responsive! The wood stove keeps you warm and comfortable on cold nights. Luna, the farm owners dog came for a visit and was super sweet. The property connects to an awesome trail up haystack mountain too! Just a great place to stay and a very cool experience!

Great cabin with a lot of extras. We got in late/at night and the directions were perfect plus the signage was reflective and easily seen.
There were many little items to make the place feel more like home which were a great addition. The cabin was more spacious than expected which was nice. The deck was a nice place to sit and read.
We enjoyed the quiet time away from all of the noises and hustle and bustle of a more city life.
I would recommend anyone who needs some time away in nature to come and stay…my only regret is not staying at least one more extra day.
It was also fun to sign the guest book and write about our stay.

10/10 would recommend for anyone trying to disconnect and relax in the woods! Erin has the cabin stocked with nice touches for your stay and plenty of info in the cabin binder of local goods to enjoy. My dog and I walked the old road beyond the cabin and my dog loved the company of Erin’s dog Luna who was very sweet. I would love to come back another time!

Our time at Erin’s cabin will forever be a cherished memory. The food and products from the area could only come from a community that takes pride in the work it takes to make the amazing farm to table products that it offers. The cabin, being nestled within the benevolent wilderness of Vermont’s green mountains, provided the peace and comfort we were looking for. We loved it so much we were already planing a trip back while on our way home.

Oma's Cabin is definitely a space to go and be able to unplug, literally! Pawlet is a dreamy country setting that will take you back in time, in a good way! You must go to Mach's Market for food, no matter what meal, absolutely everything we ate from there was amazing! And you may get lucky and Erin might make your pizza for you! I will for sure keep this little gem of a spot on the top of my list to go to for a needed reset.

Beautiful retreat especially if you’re looking for seclusion and privacy. The cabin had everything you needed and was set up very well, also was very clean. I would love to come back with my husband (I went alone) and explore more hiking trails

Oma's cabin is a beautiful retreat. The cabin is simple and peaceful, the area is gorgeous, and the hosts are friendly and knowledgeable. There are some amazing hikes nearby including Haystack Mountain that is in walking distance. The local market has delicious brick oven pizza and locally sourced goods. This is a sort of place you go back to time and time again.

This this such an amazing little gem of a cabin. The space is well stocked with everything you could ever need from cookware to books and card games. The cabin was clearly designed and constructed thoughtfully with a composting privy, rainwater barrel, outdoor dishwashing station, outdoor shower, a fully functional kitchen with a 2 burner cook top, comfortable beds, and more. The cabin is also peacefully and privately nestled into the woods behind the owners homestead and it is backed by preserved land with old logging roads and hiking trails to explore. The little stove inside the cabin was more than enough to take the evening chill out of the cabin with overnight temps in the mid 30s. Oma's cabin is a wonderful spot to reconnect with nature and take a break from fast-paced living. It is located close to a ton of hikes and cool place to visit and the host provides a very detailed guide and map that I highly recommend you flip through for recommendations on what to do when you arrive. You can hunker down in peace and quiet in the woods for days without seeing anybody else, or you can take off on dozens of adventures all within a <40 minute drive. We did a little bit of both, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely perfect little cabin in the woods. The wood stove keeps the loft sleeping area nice and toasty, which helped for when it started snowing unexpectedly. We'll certainly be coming back when we can.

My husband and I visited for my 30th birthday for a moment to step away from our busy life's. This cabin was amazing very clean, and all the personal touches really make you feel welcome. The surrounding area is a real beautiful place and we enjoyed exploring the property. If you get a chance definitely take the time to hike Haystack mountain trail. It was my first time completing a mountain hike, Im not in great shape and I was able to complete it even though it did take me 2 hours up and 1 back. The weather was nice so it was a great way to spend the afternoon. Erin and Phillip are so kind and we felt very welcome, the cabin is also far enough away that we were still able to feel the privacy and isolation that we enjoy about out usuaul camping trips. Having no running water didn't bother me at all, we were provided with more than we can usually bring with us. I would love to visit again when the weather warms up more and to experience the greenery. I 100% recommend this cabin, you can feel the amount of care and effort that goes into keeping it a nice space.

We stayed at the cabin for 3 nights and really enjoyed our time! The hosts provides information for many hikes (within ~45 min) and food options, including fresh meat and dairy from local farms. We loved the wood stove inside, and there is lots of firewood provided. During mid-March there was a bit of mud, but if you're wearing good boots you will be fine. Snow was clearing up and cabin stays warm at night. We already want to come back during Summer/Fall when the trees are full!
This off the grid cabin is a fun alternative to our usual tent camping. Feels like you're apart of nature, but you still have a nice roof over your head. Hosts are super nice!

This cabin in the woods is a true gem! Everything from the hand wash station to the firewood to the mini-kitchen to the local guidebook is incredibly well thought out and well done. Thanks again to Erin and her family for their generous hospitality and for maintaining this wonderful cabin, which allowed us to enjoy a beautiful fall weekend in Vermont!
