This is a really great spot. Number one was very private and out of the view of the other campsites and the main house. There is a little bit of road noise but actually it was in the background almost immediately and is very little at night. Beautiful spot!

Beautiful Views and a Peaceful Camp

Camping here was amazing! The scenery was beautiful, and Pete was very friendly and welcoming. The firewood was perfect—nice and dry, and we didn’t have any issues getting a fire going. The views were definitely one of the best parts. The sunsets were beautiful, the early morning fog was amazing, and the night sky was absolutely incredible. Even though the campsite is in an open field, it still feels secluded and private. The camping area was also nicely mowed and the ground was pretty soft, which was great if you’re camping without a sleeping mat. The weather got a little chilly at night, but it was definitely worth it, especially with a good fire going. Overall, we had an amazing experience with beautiful views all around. I would absolutely recommend camping here. 10/10! Ty Pete :D

This is an incredible remote spot next to a stream. We were very secluded. The lawn was cut short and it is a very peaceful area. The surrounding towns are so cute as well with a great snack shack just down the road

Stayed on site 2 Although more in the open space than sites one and three I loved this site. The river has a great spot (although water was low) right behind me for hanging out and a dip, and the campsite had a table and two wooden chairs and two lounge chairs. The fire out set up was perfect as well. Peter, the host was very nice. . I really loved my two night stay. Will be back.

Awesome place to stay! Fitted with table/bench, Weber grill and fire place. Plenty of room for our camper truck. No trees around means total solar exposure. Pete is a fantastic host provided great insight of the surroundings.

I had a great couple nights on Peter's land. The little river was wonderful to dip in, camp site was well equipped with a table and 4 chairs (2 lounge), fire pit. Bought some firewood from the owner. The land is open to a farm, backed with the woods and the river. Will absolutely go again. Quiet, couldn't hear other campers and the road near by was quiet at night.

Camping with family and pets!

Peters land was beautiful and a very fair price! There was not much shade on site 3 until later in the evening time so I highly recommend bringing a pop up or canopy. The stream was nice to refresh in. There was a picnic table and charcoal grill on site that we cooked up a delicious steak on (check out Brownsville Butcher & Pantry)! One Portapotty for the bathroom that we drove to and was well taken care of. The Villager about 10min away had amazing ice cream and a wide selection of food from seafood to burgers and tacos. Reading Greenhouse Florist & Farmer Market is another must about 4min up the road! Great visibility for the pets off leash! Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would go again!

Had an amazing time here and will definitely be back! It was the perfect spot to hangout and have my dog be able to be off leash. We were at site 2 and it’s totally private and a far distance in between the other two sites on either side. The river was crystal clear. It has shallow spots to sit with our chairs and deeper spots to dip in. Really enjoyed our time and can’t wait to come again.

This was our first time camping with our 7 month old puppy and what a perfect place to stay the location is quiet and peaceful. The site was very clean when we arrived and access to the river to cool off after a hot day was perfect. We will definitely be staying again.

This was an excellent Hipcamp! The creek was so peaceful and made this stay 10/10. Pete was incredibly helpful giving us instructions to a local spring for potable water and letting us purchase wood from him during our stay. Highly recommend this site. We’ll definitely be back!
