Enjoy the beauty of Vermont at our private cabin. Situated on 5 acres of woods next to a babbling brook, the cabin is near Okemo Mountain, the Green Mountain National Forest and the Appalachian Trail. We are a short drive to towns for shopping. Featuring a queen bed loft, a double bed bedroom and a pull out sofa, the cabin is best for up to 4 people. There is a large grass lawn with picnic table and fire pit. The kitchen is fully equipped and an outdoor charcoal grill is also available. The cabin also has high speed fiber optic internet. There is a window unit AC in the living room that will keep the cabin comfortable in hot weather. Up to two pets are allowed. We live in a house just up the road, the cabin is private but we are not far should you need anything.Enjoy the beauty of Vermont at our private cabin. Once checked in you will be given all the privacy of the Cabin, the natural beauty of its surroundings and be within reach of all the local attractions. We are about 1 mile off the paved roads so 4 wheel drive is advisable for heading our way in winter conditions. We do allow pets (maximum of two pets allowed) but if you want to leave them in the cabin unattended we require that you have them in a crate. The cabin does not have a TV set.

Green Mountain Forest Cabin

If you want to stay at a place off the beaten path but still want all the amenities of being home, this is the place to go. This is a beautiful cabin/house that has everything you could think ofor that you might need. The hosts are excellent people that make sure you have everything you need. There is a small stream right next to the house that adds to the atmosphere. The house is well heated and very comfortable and cozy. I highly recommend this as a place to stay if you want to get away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Thanks Darrin for being so accommodating. We really had a great time!
