We have WATER and POWER and are ready to host your RV stay! We have our 20/50 outlet plug ready for RV stay. There is a nice area for parking and picnicking. Please make sure to have an adapter if you are coming with a 30-amp RV. Ten-acre property with open fields, fenced in, trees, grass, small mountains, and windmills. The property is right outside of Abilene. About 15 minutes, Southwest. it is 10 minutes from the Abilene state park where you can visit Lake abilene and hit up many of the mountain trails. There are also many universities to visit alongside an army base.Peaceful and isolated 10 acre lot with the mountain ranges and stars all visible as far as the eye can see. All outside conditions and free range to move as you need. Paved road halfway down CR 12 and then dirt road to the site. Overall I had an okay experience. The directions to the site are not clear (the driveway is maybe 50 yards, not half a mile from the road) and the site, though shielded by bushes, is right on a road frequented by large trucks. It felt exposed and unsafe. Beautiful area, though. Lovely sunset views.

This was a very quite spot with very easy access from the road. We missed the driveway the first time, as it's pretty new, but our host quickly responded to our phone call to help us out. All in all a great spot for the night in west Texas!

El Tejas RV Spot
This is a beautiful property and the host was very responsive. The land is remote, which is part of what made it awesome, but it was also uncleared and unimproved, so we had a couple of challenges with that, which I'd want to make sure folks are aware of before choosing this spot. The listing didn't mention needing high clearance/4WD and we bottomed out our Jetta and were briefly stuck because there isn't really a driveway per se, just a turn-in — so we needed to walk in. If you're tent camping, we recommend a tarp in addition to a footprint because the ground has a lot of shrubbery so you're going to have some sharp roots poking up even in the clearest areas and you could damage your tent. Again, it's a beautiful spot but know that you're basically just wandering out onto wild arid plains (something we love when backpacking but honestly weren't prepared for when we booked this location for car camping). We did enjoy being far off from city noises and hearing the coyotes. The stars were magnificent.
