We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at Brandonâs. He met us when we arrived, and gave us all the info needed about the site. The White House business was closed during our stay since it was off season, so we had the entire place to ourselves. The White House is right off 290, but inside a gate. Brandon provides you a remote control to use for entering and exiting. The water and electric work perfectly. There is a toilet you can use which is clean and just a few feet away. The spot has a nice sitting area, as well as a fire pit with stools, and a gas grill with a grittle top, which worked well and was perfect for fajitas. There is a winery on one side of the property, and a farm with cows behind the property, so the scenery is nice (I am sure itâs even more lovely when things are in bloom and green - since we were there in early February, the surrounding area was lovely but not in growth). The cows from the farm came directly up to the fence to eat one morning, which was fun. The property is 20 minutes to downtown Fredericksburg. You will hear road noise, but you will also hear a ton of birds, especially in the morning, so it was very relaxing. We enjoyed our time and would return.

Great experience! Very friendly host and good location to experience Hill Country wineries. The winery was not conducting tastings while we were there, creating a very private experience with mornings waking up to deer in adjacent fields at sunrise.

Perfect little spot off highway 290

Great little spot to park your RV that's close to Fredericksburg. Right off highway 290. Brandon was helpful and made us feel welcome. We loved waking up to the view of the vineyards!
One thing to note... The power is a 50 amp outlet. If your RV needs a 30 amp outlet, make sure you have the proper adapter. (Walmart stocks them for $10-$20)

Peaceful spot in the hill country

Great location inside the gates of White House Winery/ Brewery. The camping spot is on the east side of the property with the tasting room on one side, a pasture with cows behind and grape vines to the east. The water and electric hook up worked great for our camper. There is a public restroom a few yards away that was available to us even after the winery closed which was convenient. After hours we had the outdoor areas to ourself but we mostly stayed in campsite area. Brandon, the owner, was very kind and helpful. We dont drink much but we did do a wine tasting and sampled a few of the beers which my husband really loved. I bought a chilled bottle of rose' to enjoy later. The location was great with easy access to Johnson City where there is an Ace Hardware and restaurants as well as a longer drive to Fredericksburg which is an amazing German Texas town with all you might need including a WalMart if you forgot a prescription or need camping supplies. Of course winery are abundant. We will be back.
