So glad this placed popped up when I searched the area. We would definitely stay again if ever in that way in the future. Make sure to bring drinking water. I didn't throughly read the listing telling us to bring our own, so we just used the spigot there at the site. We were sure surprised when we drank our coffee in the morning. LOL

This quiet and very private oasis was exactly as listed. The directions to get there were precise. It is completely off grid with the luxury of all hookups. Water non potable. But electric and sewer dump. Chairs. Grill. Table all there. The longhorn cattle were beautiful neighbors.

Louis' Goat Ranch Camping
My wife and I loved staying here with our two pups! Very quiet and beautiful views/wildlife. We had trouble finding it at first but Russell was attentive and gave us a call to make sure we got there! Would absolutely recommend if you are looking for a nice quiet place to get away!

We didn't stay. The 3 mile rd to the site is pretty rugged and some part was under water so we turned around which was pretty tricky with a 5th wheel. Host said there was a better road to come in but we had already turned around. I did get a refund from the host

Russ’ spot is such a beautiful peaceful getaway where you really feel like you’re all by yourself. He was a very gracious host, and attentive to any needs we may have add while we stayed. The longhorns were an added unexpected bonus, they loved to be fed and came by every day to say hi. Highly recommend this spot if you’re ever in the area! Only thing to be aware of is the water is not drinkable due to the sodium content, so be sure to fill your fresh tank or get bottled water before coming. Otherwise such a pleasant experience!

Beautiful and private RV spot with full hookups. Just outside Amarillo - not too far to get what you need in town. The host, Russell, was very friendly and hospitable.
