A small homestead with a beautiful garden, Nigerian dwarf goats, Mammoth donkeys, horses, chickens, rabbits, and a fantastic view - right outside of Dallas. Learn how to care for the animals, walk the trails of a forested 7 acres, fish in the half acre pond or hang by the fire pit. It’s just a 20 minute drive to downtown Dallas, And a 10 minute skip across the bridge to the beautiful Rockwall Harbor.This is our one and only site on the property, so you will not be meeting other guests. This is a family compound, so you will see other residents during your stay. This site is adjacent to our guest house, so it is not particularly private, but easy to access right off the driveway. Continuing down the path brings you to the goats, barn and run in shed where our donkeys reside. The beauty of your stay here is in what is around the site, not so much what is directly in it. We have had campers in there from a small travel trailer to a large motor coach. We are working now on adding gravel driveways and parking in and around the site.

This is our one and only site on the property, so you will not be meeting other guests. This is a family compound, so you will see other residents during your stay. This site is adjacent to our guest house, so it is not particularly private, but easy to access right off the driveway. The Site
The owner and the grounds keeper were very nice. However there was no access to the sewer hook up as the trailer shown in the photo block access. I enjoyed speaking with the owner and hanging out with the animals especially the horse. Also difficult entry to property as the road is in disrepair and very narrow with heavy traffic making it hard to slow down to look for address.

The Site
We loved staying at this spot. Seeing the goats, donkeys, and chickens was a highlight of the trip for my kids. The family was very helpful and kind. It is a beautiful property with the rv spot next to a second garage. Easy access to the city. We would love to stay there again if we passed through. I definitely had to double check the camper before leaving to make sure my kiddo didn’t try to smuggle a goat or two home because they were so cute. Thanks so much it was a trip to remember.

The Site
Great spot just outside of Dallas! The ranch is super easy to get to from both 80 and 30. Simple entry and parking too! Hosts are very helpful and accommodating!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hosts were super kind and came out in a rainstorm to make sure I got settled. I was very comfortable there!
