This stargazer's dream is pet-friendly and offers two glamping units and four glampsites with stunning views. Amenities include fire-pits, wi-fi, grill, shower, composting toilet, picnic table, and solar lighting. Pitch your tent or stay in a glamper at this memorable spot, which also offers deeply peaceful rustic native surroundings, world-class stargazing and bird watching (we are on a major bird migration route), and rugged mountain views in all directions. The site is easy to access without a high clearance vehicle and is only a 15 minute drive to food and draft beer, pool, and laundry. Another 15 minutes south you'll find ATV, hiking, horse, canoe, and kayak tours, nightly live music at multiple venues, art galleries, good coffee, west Texas signature cocktails, intriguing local events like the International Chili Cookoff, Blackeyed Pea Off, El Dia De Los Muertos celebration in the ghost town cemetery, Ugly Feet Contest, and lots more. Big Bend National Park is about 5 minutes from Study Butte as well.
