Utilities were on the front side of the Rv so you need lengthy hoses and electric hookups. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. The dog park was plenty big for the pups and they had a nice pool and hot tub

Gerilyn and Jason were so welcoming and accommodating! As soon as we arrived they came out to help us get parked and hooked up. They are so passionate about creating a nice place to stay. If we didn't have our own RV we would have definitely wanted to stay in one of the vintage trailers! Even when the unexpected happened (a transformer blew- totally out of their control), they kept us updated and let us know as soon as the electricity was back up and running. We enjoyed our stay, and the town of Rockport has good restaurants and cute shops.

Creatively developed & well maintained little plot of land. Especially appreciated the strong Wi-Fi & dumpsters set away from the sites. The cash-only BBQ spot across the way is fabulous as well!

Enjoyable. After traveling all day our little dog was so happy to run all around the dog park! Lovely weather to enjoy seeing the vintage trailers. We were too tired to enjoy the hot tub, but it looked welcoming.

Our hosts were excellent their property was beautiful and quiet, we enjoyed the space we were parked in, it was plenty of room and they had a little dog park for our pups to run around in. We also enjoyed taking advantage of the hottub in the evenings and laundry on site. We'll be back!!

I really love Gerilyn's dog park as it is the first thing you see as you enter the property! It is such a relief for dogs to take off their leashes and run around after being cooped up all day traveling in the truck or on a boat in the Gulf. When you think about it, your dog may be less active on vacation than at home running around the house or in the back yard. I also appreciated that the dog park had benches and some shade. They even had a wading pool and toys!

What a fun stop! Great character. Not over roses and lots of personality. Hosts were great and the pool and hot tub were a great add in. Accommodating hosts and met some really nice people staying there as well. So happy we stayed here over the over crowded parks nearby.

I’m certain we would’ve enjoyed our stay if we hadn’t rolled in during the great rain event of July 2021….20+ inches of rain in 4 days. We managed, with Jason’s much needed and skillful guidance, to get our 30’ Airstream parked during a short break and that was the last we saw of clear sky. Cute place.

This was our first time visiting Rockport and this site made the experience so enjoyable! The park is quiet and well spaced, so you can feel both welcome but able to maintain your privacy. In addition the pool and 60/70's park vibe are phenomenal for kids (and adults)! Unfortunately our stay coincided with a some record breaking rain hitting the area, but a plus was we ended up extending our stay here as the park was one of the only ones in the area that did not flood! Highly recommend booking a visit here!

Nice spot only 10 minutes from Rockport Beach- has small pool and dog park. Very tight spot for our 31 foot travel trailer but the owner was helpful in getting us backed in safely which we appreciated.

We had such a great time camping here in our RV. The hosts are so kind and personable. We didn’t get a chance to swim in the pool due to weather, but we are excited to visit again! The dog park was a great amenity for our two large dogs to run and play! On our way home from the Gulf we had issues with our RV and had to limp back to drop our RV off at a repair shop. I reached out to the hosts of Gulf Coast Getaway to see if they had a repair shop recommendation and they were responsive and very helpful! They even called us back several hours later to make sure we had been able to get things taken care of well. We appreciated our stay and their service!

Wonderful camp. Wonderful area. I absolutely enjoyed our campsite and our hosts. Gerrilyn and Jason were both helpful and likable without hovering.
Rockport and the N Padre Island national park were so pleasant. I highly recommend everything about this experience.

The owner was there to meet us, super friendly, helped us back our trailer into our site, and had an extra pigtail and water hose available. We had a quick stay, but its just what we needed. Quiet spot with friendly people who give you your camping space.

This was our first Hipcamp ... and it was an awesome place to stay. Nice and quiet and the owners are amazing. Very responsive... very friendly... very accommodating. We also really loved their dog park. It was the biggest rv dog park we’ve seen in a while. Very clean.. lots of grass. Lovely place overall. We feel so very lucky to have picked Gerilyn and her husbands amazing place. We stayed in our class C RV but there are several refurbished older rvs and trailers that are available... very cute!!

Gerilynn and her husband are hospitable, hardworking and go out of there way to help guests.
Cleanliness and upkeep are top priorities.
At the same time, they respect guests privacy.
Gerilynn was very prompt with her responses to my questions.
I brought my Airstream and it worked out great with electric and water hookups
Not to mention, we felt right at home with the array of cool vintage trailers they offer!

We tend to stay at National & State Parks where the pads are larger. So it was an adjustment to pull into a small space. It’s worth mentioning the water hookup was a bit strange as it was facing upwards towards the 30amp hookup. It was no big deal - we just hadn’t experienced that before. With all that being said you cannot beat the price with full hookups plus an amazing pool/hot tub deck. It was good for our one night rest stop. Gerilyn was incredibly quick with her responses and she even noticed the surfboard on my car and sent me the surf report for the following day - very thoughtful!
