The two camping sites near the river (Medina and Riverside) were perfect for our group! Ellie’s property was lovely, secluded, and peaceful. Lots of deer, and hummingbirds! A short walking distance from the river, which was flowing great. It was wonderful to have the clean, well-kept outhouse for our 4 day visit, along with blocks for our fire and a trash barrel. We love this place, it's close enough to town if you forget something but still a very relaxing stay. Ellie is a wonderful host. We've had 2 great camping experience here. It was a beautiful, peaceful spot. Highly recommend! Oh and the river is nice too.

The property is right outside Bandera,
So it’s easily accessible. It’s beautiful land!
The campsites are a short walk through the woods to the river (from the photos I mistakenly thought the sites were literally a few feet from the water- not a big deal, Just FYI).
I had a great weekend and look forward to going back!

This was a quick get away for the wife and I. This place did not disappoint in anyway. We enjoyed the river, watching the firefly's, and the deer. Ellie was super helpful and very accommodating. Will defiantly be back!!

The property was beautiful, and seeing all the deer made it really magical. It's just a shame the neighborhood was much louder than I expected. Maybe because it was a Friday night, but all I heard was loud music from a neighbor that went well past midnight, some distant dogs barking throughout the night, and the constant sound of traffic. And I'm guessing the place is near a shooting range, because I woke up to what sounded like gunshots? I was hoping for a bit more peace and quiet.

I'm in love with this place. I didn't want to leave. I hesitate to even write a great review so it doesn't get all booked up.
The camper was great. So many amenities and so comfortable. The farm would be crowded if all the sites were full bc they are pretty close together, but I got lucky and was the only camper on my stay. I had a blast with my dog running around this farm. You can walk to the river easily. It's shallow and a little smelly but it was cold and running and there wasn't a soul in site.
If you're going to stay in the camper and want to cook, I'd bring some kitchen stuff- a good knife, cutting board, a pan. You also need to bring your own salt and oil etc.
The shower was hot and they have towels. Bed was comfy.
Ellie was super responsive and helpful when I had a million questions about the camper (there's lots to learn). She was also flexible with me when my plans changed.
Overall, great place. Don't tell anyone

everything was great more than I expected. The place is beautiful the people are nice and we enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it to everyone and we get a chance go check it out and take a walk to the river down there. It’s very nice thank you.

We stayed here for a night just looking to get out of town. Ellie was very accommodating and it was nice to know she was available if we needed anything. Very peaceful time outside, our dog had fun too! Would definitely camp here again.

I just love staying at Memmie’s Farm! The land is close to town but feels far away. The walk down to the River is so nice. There’s an old Oak Grove on the way and Big Cypress down by the water. Last weekend was my third trip to the Farm the wildflowers were really showing off as the host Ellie says.
Ellie is kind and attentive. Her assistant Timothy is helpful and funny. I know they accommodated some folks when another camper cancelled and they wanted to spread out and move.
The porta potties were clean. It’s just an all around beautiful hill country setting with more privacy than a public park.

We had a great time exploring Memmie’s Farm, it is a beautiful location and is nice and spread out. There are plenty of trees and pathways though the woods that my boys liked to explore. We brought the whole family and everyone had a good time. The kids loved the river! Thanks again Ellie!

I really enjoyed my stay at Memmie's Farm! Ellie was a fantastic host with great communication before and throughout our visit. While I did reserve the Primitive Campsite #1, I actually did not stay at that campsite. It turns out that the campsite was exactly as described (and I did walk through the area and it's really beautiful and peaceful), but unfortunately if you don't have a 4-wheel drive then you have to walk down a small hill to get to the campsite. Since my wife has bad knees she didn't want to take a chance on the hill so Ellie was extremely helpful and found us another campsite on the property. Everything worked out perfect and we really appreciated Ellie's flexibility and creative solution.
The location of the property is fantastic because you really feel like you're in a very remote area even though the town is just a few miles down the road. This is a great place for a nice camping getaway.

We had a great time at Memmie’s Farm! The camp sites are in a really nice area with lots of shade, and there is a large field nearby for playing catch or frisbee. We also walked down to the river area and it has a lovely little area of rapids, with crystal clear cool water to play in.

A group of friends and I took their 3 (!!!) kids camping for the first time, and we had a great time at Ellie’s!
She was super accommodating for our group and chose the best site for the kids. (= Lots of space and shade)
The sites were pretty large and there were a lot of different areas to explore with the kids — a giant field with flowers (where we also watched the eclipse) and a small piece of the river to dip our feet.
Had a great time and I think they have plans to build it out more! Thank you Ellie & crew 🙏🏼
