Welcome to a fantastic retreat in the Texas Hill Country! Nestled on nine acres, our property offers a hook-up site in a shady oak grove. In addition to the hook-up, there are about five acres acres of wooded area designated for tent camping, allowing you to immerse yourself in nature if you so desire. Campers not in need of a fixed hook up may also consider a fenced in area (great for dogs) near the property's main office/residence that has a common use bathroom, 110v outlets, a spigot and access to a gas BBQ grill. The hook ups currently available for rent are newly constructed, as of February 2026, with easy access and a buffered/natural barrier distance from others staying on the property. Experience starry nights, colorful wildflowers in the spring, winding roads that offer beautiful views. Two great brewhouses, with food and live music events just minutes away. And only a few minutes beyond that, enjoy the shops, restaurants and other activity in the famed artist-friendly Wimberley, TX. Enjoy the best of city and country, with Austin or San Antonio about an hour in either direction. Additionally, you are a short trip away from wineries, distilleries, and famed live music venues. This is the best that Texas has to offer! Lavender Sound's owner and resident, Neal K., is a musician and music teacher, now embarking on an effort to establish a homestead.

Lavender Sound RV Hook Up
the view 1 direction was beautiful, wildflowers, prickly pear, cedars and the like , but you have to camp right next to 2 campers that are rented out. It was too close for my comfort, even though there was a very nice young man living in one, and he left so there was privacy but the ambience wasn’t as nice as it could have been. The other challenge was the outlet was for a 50 amp plug only, I needed a regular plug. he did later direct us to an electric pole that he said he thought had a regular plug at it, but it was too far from the camper pad for our cord.

Lavender Sound RV Hook Up
This place feels secluded. Peaceful and quiet. Neal is great. It was perfect for what I needed. My parking area was almost perfectly level (unusual). I will definitely be staying there again.
