This site was great! A huge plus was that they brought us firewood both nights that we stayed and saved me a lot of chopping time. The fire pit supplied was also very nice. They were very friendly and the donkey they had also seemed to get along great when it met our dogs.

Very secluded and awesome campsite. A little snug for my 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT. they provided firewood, fire pit, and pop up tent and emergency toilet if we could not make the 6 min walk to the flushable toilet.

Great glamping experience!

Oak Palace, Serenly located

We had a great time staying at Daniel's glamping site, about 15 miles from the entry to Colorado bend State park. The campsite and tent were clean and tidy and secluded in a cedar grove, with solar lights and a fire pit (wood included) and grill for cooking. There was a couple hundred yards walk to a full bathroom with a shower and wifi. An extra tent with cots and bedding was also available for the kids, and was setup prior to arrival. Overall a wonderful time, perfect for a short weekend at the park, and would absolutely stay again. Thanks Danny!

The place was exactly as described. Fantastic layout, we really felt all by ourselves at the Juniper Campsite. The owner was very nice and showed our kids how they feed the cows, they had such a nice time. I would recommend anyone wanting to get away, and get jealous of the beautiful setup the owners have here check it out :)

We had the best stay here! It was so quiet and peaceful. We walked around the property and made friends with the cute mini cows and the donkey! The stars were UNREAL. Danny was awesome and checked in on us and restocked our firewood. The firepit is massive and two tier grates and was perfect for all of our cooking needs. 5/5!!!

Cedar Sunrise peaceful campsite

Daniel and his brother were very friendly. He even trimmed the trees for us after he saw us struggling to back our truck into the spot. The spot was beautiful! We did leave early due to getting rained out, but that was just bad luck on our part. We enjoyed the time we spent here.

Beautiful land, such a quiet and peaceful place. Perfect for a visit to Colorado Bend. Also a nice place to wander around and explore. Amazing host. Arrived in the middle of a downpour and Daniel helped us upgrade to the glampsite so we didn't have to set up in the rain. The water pump hose that extends across the campsite is especially brilliant.

The glamping setup had everything we needed, even an extra tent with beds for our 3 boys. Really thoughtful host. Site is pretty nice with fun walking trails. Unfortunately what ruined it for me was how close the site is to the main road. Hearing cars zoom by every 10 to 15 mins really ruined it for me. They have so much land I dont understand why you would put the site literally right next to the road. Such a shame but wont be coming back because of this.

We had a great time! We are camping newbies and wanted to try it out without committing to buying a lot of gear if our kids weren't going to be okay with it. The site had everything we needed, even air conditioning and outlets - which was a nice bonus as it was still pretty warm during the days. My kids had a blast exploring the trails on the property and visiting the cows and donkey. We brought our golden retriever and he thoroughly enjoyed his time. We really appreciated the beds and set up, we were able to squeeze a pack and play and dog bed into the main tent with us (in addition to the provided bed and twin cot for our oldest). Daniel was quick to help us out when we needed it and made sure we had enough fire wood to last the weekend. The stars at night were well worth the trip, it was one of the things we were really looking forward to.

Climate controlled and everything!

Cedar Glen Glampsite was so neat. There is an air conditioning and outlets, as well as a walk right outside to a camp eco friendly private luxury potty! The hundred acres are amazing and we got to meet Mo, the donkey, as well as the miniature cows. They reminded me of our chow chow puppy! Our dogs enjoyed their stay as well. Plenty of room! The tent itself is very very spacious with the most comfortable bed. It is climate controlled and just as nice as a hotel room, but you can hear the owls at night...Danny is a very kind host. We unfortunately didn’t get to see the stars due to the weather, but we will try to be back.

Had a great first-time camping trip for my birthday. Everything was set up for us, which was convenient. The wet wood made it hard to start a fire, but we eventually got it going and enjoyed the fire! Overall, a memorable experience nd will come back in the fall

Roadtrip

My dad and I were traveling cross country and stopped here, this was the perfect place for us to rest and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Daniel and his wife were extremely accommodating, and their three retrievers are adorable!! Daniel met us on arrival after dark, waiting for us to make sure that we knew how to get to our campsite and was very communicative beforehand over messaging. This place was perfect because they had a nice tent set up with a comfortable bed for my dad to sleep in since I only had camping gear for myself at the time. The glamping site is very well done, with wonderful lighting set up to enjoy the hangout area and a fire pit with all of the supplies you need to make a fire. They also have the nicest bathroom and shower I have ever seen at a campsite. We walked on the trails around the lake in the morning and it was a great start to our next day of driving. I highly recommend staying here, these are really nice people with a great little camping spot that you can tell they’ve put a lot of love into.

The host is truly amazing, he met us at the campsite and brought us more firewood an told us about things we could do while there. This camp site by far surpassed all of my expectations and it truly made my birthday one of the best I've had.

The Blue Bonnett Campsite

The area was beautiful and the tent bed and cots were so comfy! Everything was so thought out, the hang out area with fire pit, grill and cooking utensils. Daniel was very welcoming and we were able to walk around the property to meet the cows and donkey- adorable!

It was everything that was advertised. Mr Daniel is a great communicator, very quick with responses. He was Very helpful considering we got lost, Google maps fault, but was able to get us there. The host met us at the gate and made us feel very welcomed, even though it was a bit after midnight. When we returned from sightseeing, we had fresh firewood and the picnic table umbrella was up..VERY WELCOMING.

A glampsite with a view!!

We were seriously blown away by this diamond in the rough! So lucky to have found this place! I messaged Daniel with a question and he answered very quickly. We decided to book last minute for the same day, and Daniel was extremely accommodating, to the point of greeting us in person much later than we had anticipated due to a delay traveling. The site is super accessible and a short distance from the road, but completely private. There were sturdy Adirondack chairs, as well as a large picnic table with benches. We did not try out the fire pit, bc we wanted to stargaze. And the sky out there is pristine. It was wonderful. If you are a dark sky nerd, this site is legitimately capable of Bortle 2 and 3 levels of darkness. Check the light pollution maps if you need to, but that is part of why we booked and we were not disappointed. A large thunderstorm system came through overnight, and the canvas yurt/tent held up just fine and we stayed dry. It is very securely anchored to a solid platform of concrete, cinder blocks, and thick wooden beams, keeping the structure elevated off the ground and well above any accumulation of rainwater and we felt very safe. Could not recommend more highly! We hope to be back soon! Go visit, check it out, you will not be disappointed!

This was a nice little private area to camp with a few friends. We had a great time. The setup was very nice overall. It was a great place to see the moon and stars. The bathroom was a few minutes walk away. We would definitely stay again.

The land was beautiful, clean and easy to find. My set up was amazing!!! Daniel went above and beyond to make me and my pup feel welcome! Bring a fan for air in the tent and your set to go! Will book agian!

Daniel is an amazing host! Very caring, considerate, funny and kind. We loved camping at his property and feeding the mini cows (although Bessy didn’t want to know anything about me). We were very impressed by the campsite layout and his generosity. We already told him that we’ll be back! I can’t recommend him enough!

This was a great, private, campsite. It was easy to find and Danny was a great host, he showed us directly to campsite. The amenities provided were exactly what we needed (picnic table with solar lit umbrella, grill grate over the fire pit, trash can, and private toliet). The view was also exceptional- stars for days...well nights. 🙂 Will definitely be back!
