Expect diversity in landscape from barren white rock to beautiful desert plants.  The campsites are on the high edge of the property overlooking the valley and small canyons below. Feel free to hike and explore the property.  Extras include a Charging Station for you phone or rechargeable devices, Pet tie stake, bench camp; fire pit.  Additionally a Wildlife feeder is set up at the base of the butte so that it can be viewed from the edge of each of the campsites. We look forward to welcoming you to our unique property! There are no set bike trails but visitors are welcome to ride the property if the have moderate to advanced skills. “Ride at your own Risk”. Please respect nature and the plant life.

Site 2 - El Rancho Lejano
Very Pretty, very secluded. Definitely make sure you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle. And plan on about an hour for you to get out. But other than that it was beautiful. Excellent views and good viewing of both sunrises and sunsets.

Great site with a great view! Very secluded so perfect if you want to get away from everyone. Make sure your vehicle can handle some terrain. Would go back again.

Fun Off Roading Experience to Site
El Rancho Lejano
Awesome camping spot if you want to be out in the middle of nowhere by yourself but make sure you have a four wheel drive vehicle. Also, don't forget to add an extra hour coming and going to your plan for the day bc that’s how long it takes to get to site from the road. Lastly, make sure you don’t accidentally delete your map because there isn’t any service and you could get seriously lost especially at night.

beautiful starlit sky
El Rancho Lejano
this campsite was perfect for our trip to big bend and terlingua ghost town. We had a chance to enjoy the unique landscape of west Texas and the stars from camp were incredible. The solar lights and tent pad were especially nice. The owner was very communicative and allowed us to make last minute adjustments. We would definitely camp here again!
