Site 18 is a big open spot right with a picnic table and fire ring, there are some trees to park under near the water and electric with tons of room for your tents out in the open or under trees. Plenty of parking available nearby! While it has RV hookups it doesn't have a big flat spot to park so it's generally best for camping or small RVs/camper vans around 20'

Site 3 is a nice camp site that is fully shaded and is great for RVs that don't need hookups or small group camping. Sites 1 and 2 are rarely rented out and we allow visitors of site 3 to use those parking spots and space if they like. Site 5, Shade Camp and Water

Site 5 is a nice camp site that is fully shaded, has a fire ring and picnic table, it's great for RVs that don't need hookups or small group camping (4-6). If your group is >4 we recommend Site 3 or 4, if your group is >6 we recommend our large group Site 7. Water is available at the post which is really nice to have! We are very flexible so if there is anything we can do to accommodate your needs, please don't hesitate to call or text!

Site 17 Pull-Thru Water and Elec

Site 17 is a massive pull-through site, over 100' long, electric and water hookups, full shade throughout the day, tons of room for large setups. Picnic table and fire ring provided at request. The location is ideal in the center of the park and easy in/out. There really isn't a bigger site than this at any RV park in the area.

Site 7 is our large group camp site that is mostly shaded, it has a large fire pit AND SO MUCH ROOM, it's great for RVs that don't need hookups or group camping (6-10). If your group is over 10 please book additional adjoining sites, 3-6. Plenty of parking, we allow up to 3 vehicles. We are very flexible so if there is anything we can do to accommodate your needs, please don't hesitate to call or text!

This is a great back-in RV spot with 50/30/20A and water, plenty of room for larger rigs. There are even two first-come-first-served covered storage spots for your boat during your stay. (And plenty of room to park trailers or boats if they are full)  There is also a porta-john on site as no septic/sewer hookups are currently available. Roads are crushed concrete so you don't have to worry about a little rain leaving you literally stuck! Buck Acres is nicely shaded for those blistering summer months, as fellow RVers we can't wait to share this beautiful property with you. Relax at our close to everything, away-from-it-all, forested location, just 1 mile from Hwy 105 and the largest marina on the lake. 10 minutes to Kroger or Wal-Mart for anything you might need.

Site 15 is on the edge of the middle of the park, perfect site for a medium size rig that doesn't like tight spaces. No fires or picnic table available here, but electric and water hookups are available. We think of this site as a last resort for people that just need a spot to park with hook-ups because there's no campsite.

Sites 16 and 17 are our largest spots for those big rigs, center of the property, really easy in, really easy out, great shade, picnic table and fire ring available at request. Site 16 even has a with a huge 'front yard' to setup for your pets or family in a tent, but does not have its own water spigot. There are other locations to get water on the property, but not directly at this site.

I would not stay here again. There is a KOA in town, I would try that. Whoever is running this place had trucks, motorcycles running into late night early evening, there is an old dragster car w flat tires that someone is apparently working on. I expected a much better campground and I would have not left a negative review, but after people (I believe the ones that run this place) were running pickups, an old fire truck after 11 PM. If that wasn't enough someone then fired up a loud motorcycle at 1 AM. We come to these places for quiet rest and relaxation and pay good money to try to have decent accommodations, but this was far from the case here. My advice GO ELSEWHERE!!!!

Area is nice and the individual sites are spread out enough to offer a small semblance of privacy. The host was extremely friendly and pleasant. The only real complaint I had was the portable toilet. There is only a single one for everyone's use, and it was in bad need of servicing, to the point it was nearly overflowing and unusable. Everything else about the place was lovely.

It was a good place to camp for a couple of days. The initial intention was to stay there and fish around Lake Conroe. Everyone beware that there is basically little to no access to fish around Lake Conroe unless you have a boat. But we found a few great ponds nearby and had a lot of luck. The bathroom is a giant Porta-Potty but it's very clean and well maintained. We would definitely come here again except for the fact that we won't because you can't Fish Lake Conroe as an average father and son from the shore just trying to have a day of it.

Enjoyed camping Here with the family, huge thanks to the camp host Mr. Charley for the firewood. We were able to set up 3 tents and park both cars. There's a nice lake abkut 20 minutes out we set up for the day. Plenty of stores nearby would recommend for a weekend trip

It was not what we expected. Instead of a relaxing camping ground experience, we felt we were at a trailer park. People live there (nice people) but there were working machinery, trailers, and stuff, and even a firetruck right next to us. They were busy moving stuff around. While they were fixing the firetruck the siren went off and scared the s#!@ out of our little dog. Overall, it wasn't a pleasant stay. This place may work for someone who just wants to "park and go" but doesn't want a relaxing environment. (A partial fence separating the camping area from the area where the people live could improve the appearance.) The free firewood was nice and appreciated. The tall pine trees gave us plenty of shade.

Sites were basic but clean. We were tenting and had a level enough spot to set up. The supply of free firewood was appreciated. Location-wise, you're minutes from Conroe, Montgomery and lake conroe but on a local road that doesn't have too much traffic

The site would be great for RV camping. It wasn't great for tent camping. There were no showers on site. The restroom was a portapotty. It would be better if there were some facilities or maybe a playground.

We rv camped with some friends who tent camped. We had a great time. With it tucked away, but still a short drive to town and historic downtown Montgomery it was nice to be able to go exploring and enjoy the weather. The lights around the camp and restroom weren't working, but it's a short walk. The site manager was nice and even let us borrow an extension cord since we were a few feet short. It was a good quiet family friendly place, with generous amounts of firewood. Thank you for having us!

I enjoyed my camping here. My first time camping in many years and wanted to work hiccups out before taking my grandsons on a camping trip. Host was great, firewood provided. It was a very peaceful enjoyable camping trip. Will definitely return.

This camp was a true gem and find for me. I saw deer running through the woods, it was quiet, peaceful and secluded. I was amazed a place like this existed so close to a metropolis. I highly recommend Buck Acres!

I was looking for something that wasn’t too KOAish or state park feeling. And this place was perfect. Very low key, no frills, quiet and not crowded. A home base for my motorcycle rides in the area. Very friendly host, had firewood ready for me and enjoy my campfire while grilling up my dinner. I will definitely be back. Thanks.

Easy property to find on a cozy corner! We were gifted firewood & a campsite to ourselves. Quiet, nice tenting platforms, & the portable potty is HUGE. Overall enjoyed our short stay & highly recommend going swimming in Lake Conroe at Scott’s Ridge.

Honestly such an amazing mom and pop camp grounds with amazing hosts. They made sure to communicate clearly and make sure that everything was in order for my stay. I’m a female that has been camping alone here and they have cameras that they watch to make sure no one comes on the property that isn’t welcome. Definitely one of my favorite grounds to stay on. It’s never to crowded and it’s quite. Very peaceful. The property is gorgeous and well maintained. Any issues or questions I had were immediately addressed or fixed. If more than 5 stars were a thing this place definitely would earn them!

This is a beautiful little campground. There's lots of tall shade trees. The location is ideal for short trips to Walmart, Kroger, and even local restaurants. Yet it is set back far enough to be generally quiet and peaceful. The host is very nice and generous with rates and accommodations. I would come back if I'm ever back in the area!

I had a peaceful weekend at this campsite. Although the place I originally intended to go was closed due to storms, this camp location satisfied my need for nature and relaxation. Allowed me to unwind and rejuvenate. I would highly recommend it for a stay
