Learn more about this land: From original 1937 dairy farm to present day hobby farm, The Rimrock Homestead represents four generations in the Black Hills. Come be a part of our story!  Our 13 ft bell tent with a queen bed is surrounded by Oak trees on a private edge of our hobby farm. After a long day of exploring the Black Hills, you will be welcomed by peacocks, goats, chickens, guinea hens, beautiful sunsets, and starry nights.  In the morning, we will provide you with hot coffee or tea, farm fresh eggs from our chickens, and pastries from our favorite locally owned bakery.  You will have a private, very clean portable restroom with a sink. We can also provide you with a hot shower during your stay.  We look forward to hosting you!

    Glamping on Majestic Hobby Farm
    Glamping on Majestic Hobby Farm was the cherry on top for our incredible trip to the Mount Rushmore/Black Hills area. If you are planning a trip to the area, we couldn’t recommend it more: - Great location: close to Deadwood, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Sylvan Lake, etc. - Thoughtful touches: snacks, coffee, showers, blankets, dog bed, outdoor lighting, etc - Awesome people and communication: treated us like family making it hard to say goodbye!

    Glamping on Majestic Hobby Farm
    Our stay was truly magical! Upon arrival we were greeted by the sweetest couple and dogs! They gave us the best snacks and beverages in our tent as well! We got to hang out with the goats, chickens, and kitties! Such a warm and welcoming stay and we will for sure be back next year!
