Lovely view from the top, plenty of forest litter for a fire and a nice running stream just a little bit from the property to explore. The cabin was well set up for those of us unwilling to embrace the outdoors yet.

I booked and paid for Dave's place as a gift for my daughter and her friends to camp for her birthday celebrations.
She reports - and the photos support this - that the site itself was great! Plenty of space to spread out, huge firepit, clean toilets available, some shade. The road in to the site was challenging, and with a bit of rain, a 2wd would not get in. Those with AWDs and 2WDs were ok, but it wasn't easy.
Dave was pleasant to deal with - both for myself and my daughter and her friends - and he kindly delivered extra firewood for them, however he did spend a fair bit of time at the site and engaging with the campers, which made them a bit uncomfortable. He has a shed on the site in which he was working for part of each day of their time there, so they felt less like they had the place to themselves. I do appreciate that a property owner has the right to be on their own property whenever they choose, however I think it's important that other campers are aware that this is the case when they are choosing a place to camp.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Anduramba !
Dave was incredibly friendly and popped in to say hello!
We had people take both the crows nest track and blackbutt track in 2WD and made it successfully !
Upon arrival the surrounding mountains were crowded in a veil of mist, and over the next hour the clouds dissipated to reveal the most incredible 360 views, sunset on the second day was incredibly special!
The campsite and amenities were clean and well kept, and the site was very easy to find using Google maps :)
Couldn’t recommend this site enough glad to have had the opportunity to stay :)

Unfortunately we were unable to access the site via 2WD following the rain. We initially attempted from Crows Nest following the hosts recommendation that this is all weather 2WD accessible, however on Watergully road there was a pothole the width of the road with no way to navigate around, which was too deep for my 2WD to navigate. After backtracking and attempting from Blackbutt we made it to 2km before the site when we encountered a creek crossing and a very steep incline with plenty of deep washouts, which my vehicle could not make it up safely. Both sides of watergully road do have signs indicating “Dry weather only” with at least 1 sign indicating 4WD only. As the host was not at the property and with no alternative route we had to make alternative arrangements. It was disappointing as it seems like a beautiful spot, however I would not recommend attempting with a 2WD, especially if there has been any rain.

An amazing campsite if you are relatively self sufficient. Dave our host was excellent, helped us get to the site and made sure we were settled in. The views are exceptional, sunset was great and then the stars. Very quiet on top of the ridge, the only visitor we had was a goanna who kept to himself. Nice fire pit too.

This location is right on top of a hill, great views and lovely sunsets/sunrises. Nice big fire pit to keep warm. Dave is a very friendly host. Will come again!

Beautiful piece of land. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, watch immaculate sunsets in front of the fire and take in nature this is for you. Dave is a fantastic host and we are very grateful he shares his piece of paradise for all the experience.

We really enjoyed the christmas stay in Dave place, Dave is very helpful and prompt communication.
We are self sufficent and booked the cabin just in case of weather.
Site is on top of the mountain, easy access with 4wd, well maintained with large firepit, portaloo and shower, also hv drinking water near the shed which is super handy.
We had thunderstorm, hail, lightening, heatwave and the horrific christmas storm, very lucky we hv the cabin, our camp kitchen and gazebo had blown apart. Cabin is clean and basic, bunk bed, 12v charge, table, cabinet with a few necessity which is very handy.
Spectacular 360 degree view and the sunset is so beautiful, peaceful and very relaxed.
Internet and phone reception is good, we are using vodafone and no problem for calls and internet (facebook and ig etc), not sure abt streaming, we did downloaded a few movies beforehand.

Great spot. Private, scenic, great sunrise, sunset and night sky. Cabin was as expected. Never got to meet Dave in face, but plenty of helpful correspondence.

Dave is polite and discrete, very easy to deal with.
Camp was better than described and the bunk house was clean and well set out.
Toilet and shower facilities are basic, but quite adequate, this is not glamping.
Loads of good flat camping area under some shade trees.
Very quiet and peaceful.
Remember to bring your own water and cooking gear.
Roads in and out are gravel and passable for larger passenger vehicles in dry weather.
After rain 4wd recommended.
We will be going back.
