Ancient spirits reside on this mystical property Learn more about this land: Experience the joys of glamping in this beautiful and modern yurt. Perfect for couples and friends who want to escape the hustle and bustle. Located on 5 acres in the edge of the woods, the yurt has onsite parking, a private entrance, front and back porches, ac/heat, wifi, cooking amenities, and a hammock. Guests can use the bathroom located in a separate building only 30 feet away. The yurt is set up like a studio apartment with a queen sized bed and a full sized futon. There are plenty of comfy sitting areas to chill out and play board games, work on a jigsaw puzzle, or do a tarot reading. In the spring/summer/fall take your coffee or tea to the back porch and relax amongst the trees. We also have wifi. The yurt has radiant propane heating as well as an electric minisplit for additional heating and air conditioning. There is also a giant fan on the ceiling that provides nice air flow in the summer.  The kitchenette has a mini refrigerator, hot plate, cast iron pan, crock pot, small saucepan, griddle, silverware and cooking utensils, cups, dishes, coffee maker, tea kettle, water filter, and cutting board. We have also provided olive oil, salt and pepper, teas, coffee, sugar, creamer, oatmeal, soup, and other snacks. There is a mini dining table with 2 chairs. The heated private bathhouse has hot water, a sink, 2 private stalls, and a shower with essential toiletries.  Well water is available from the bathhouse sink and it is considered safe to drink, but we cannot guarantee the quality or the purity. We recommend using the water filter or bringing your own water. The yurt shares land with several buildings on our property including the main house where the hosts reside. We live in a rural location in the middle of the woods, but there are neighbors on all sides. You may occasionally hear noises like dogs barking, car doors and engines, children playing, and wild critters like coyotes and foxes. In the warmer months there are bugs in the woods including ticks and mosquitoes, so please plan accordingly.

      We really loved staying in Abbe's Yurt. It was very well appointed and beautifully decorated. My kids especially loved the collection of board games and puzzles. The road to the Yurt was a bit further down the road than the directions said but when we saw the 'Home ###' sign, we knew we were in the right place. A neighbor's dog and a few passing trains made the early evening and my kids' bedtime a bit noisy but that settled down by the time I was ready for bed.

      Unexpectedly amazing!
      Eclectic and Cozy Yurt
      This yurt blew my expectations out of the water. It was so cozy, peaceful and comfortable. They have thought of everything! There were plenty of supplies in the kitchen area, including food/snacks, games and art supplies as well as a very clean bathhouse just a short walk away from the yurt. I brought my not so outdoorsy and not so adventurous best friend with me and even she was thoroughly impressed. I will definitely be coming back here at some point!

      Dream come true
      Eclectic and Cozy Yurt
      This yurt is perfect and so is Abbe! She was available to answer all questions and definitely gave us privacy which I very much value! My spouse and I stayed a week in this yurt and there were SO many unexpected amenities. She has two air conditioners, a large overhead fan, a plethora of games, a mini fridge but she also has things like sugar, and extra firewood for guests. The backboard of the bed has these beautiful icicle lights on the backboard, everything was so well appointed and cute. The wood and furnishings look new. Thank you so much Abbe! My friends are jealous and we are already planning our return!

      A stay to remember!

      What a serene hosting! Yurt is beautifully and meticulously thought through. The hosts have carefully designed components inside the yurt to relax yourself and detox from the hustle. We absolutely loved our stay and it is one of those listings we might come back for.

      Wonderfully Calming

      A beautiful space set back off the road. Everything in the yurt feels carefully curated to create the most relaxing space possible. So many extras like snacks, games and activities. The bathhouse is also modern, clean comfortable and very well set-up. Overall a fantastic place to get away.

      Super cute charming yurt. There are so many thoughtful amenities here. I truly enjoyed my stay and was looking for quiet and scenic place. Abigail’s yurt ticked all of those boxes.

      Home away from Home!
      Eclectic and Cozy Yurt
      The yurt was a beautiful peaceful space. The inside was super cozy with a very comfortable bed, sitting area and a propane stove for heat. The kitchen area was well equipped. There were many small details like games, adult color books that made you feel at home. The bathroom and shower building just steps away from the yurt was an unexpected luxury with hot running water.

      Amazing stay! The yurt decor was super cool, romantic and cozy! Bed was very comfortable and there were basic cooking amenities, a ton of snacks, and a nice bathroom across the way in the bath-house/retreat center. There were also games, books and art supplies which was a nice touch. Will definitely try to stay again.
