Very private . Nicely kept tiny home. Had everything we needed.
Bring sheets if sleeping bag and own towels. But I didn’t find that to be an issue. Great place for dogs as well.

This was our first stay with Hipcamp and Lawrence and Carolee's tiny home experience for us truly amazing not just for us but the dogs loved it equally as much! They are the epitome of hosts and I highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone lucky enough to stumble across it like we did. The grounds are very well maintained and the amenities that they put into this place are topshelf! Thank you for having us! And we hope to see you again!!

The Tiny Home is just as it is described. Absolutely beautiful and stocked very well for anything you may need during your stay. It is obvious that previous guests have left items to be enjoyed by others, as did I. The woods and location are fantastic. Outdoor Ramada was such a surprise, thoughtfully built and equipped as well with campfire pit, chairs, picnic table, electrical outlets and a wonderful roofed space. We will be back.

Me and my family absolutely loved this tiny home!! Very cozy and clean with a beautiful view, it was everything we needed. Perfectly secluded but close enough to a store if you need one. They stocked the house up with things I didn’t think to bring which was so nice. Great place for kids if they love to be outdoors! My 4 year old had a blast here and can’t wait to come back!

My kids and I spent one night while we were passing through the area. We will definitely be back because the space was great. My kids and I loved the tiny house, which was beautifully designed to maximize every bit of space. The outdoor space would be great for having a cookout and fire with family. The house and grounds are well maintained and clean. The host was generous, friendly, and responsive by message. We made it up the driveway in a Ford Maverick without 4WD, but even if you couldn’t make it up the driveway, you could park at the bottom and walk up.

Had an extremely nice stay and very helpful. Only issue was GPS doesn’t take you to where the house is but they said they were working on getting that fixed. House and land are very nice and would definitely recommend. Already making plans to possibly stay in the winter this year.

If you’re looking for a serene and relaxing place to go, this is it. The Tiny Cabin is kept so clean. There’s plentiful amount of firewood to keep you warm all night. Plenty of room for kids and dogs to roam and explore. We will absolutely be coming back!

We absolutely loved this private little woodland getaway. We loved walking the trails and identifying all the different plants. Making dinner and s’mores over the fire pit was awesome, and we also laid out a blanket in the field to watch the stars come out and the bats fly around. It was super cool to hear them making noise. Being able to retreat back into the little home and have the comforts of air conditioning and a cozy bed was amazing. Definitely coming back!

Nice, but forced politics on us

It was a nice little cabin, clean, all the little comforts that might be forgotten at home were there. The area was nice, classic rural PA, to include a neighbor donkey who has opinions.
However, at the bottom of the steep driveway going up to the cabin was a Trump 2024 yard sign. We wanted an escape from the world for a few days, and that is what we saw to start it off with. If that’s your jam, go support them. It’s not for us and we would have canceled if we could have gotten our money back. With the political sign at the entrance to a rental property, it felt we were forced to endorse them as well. Not everything has to be made political, we weren’t looking to make a political stance, but the owners forced that onto us.
If it wasn’t for that sign, we’d probably come back.

I had a great time at the tiny home! The quiet and privacy helped me disconnect from the outside world for a bit, and the space was cozy with every amenity I could possibly need. Very thoughtfully appointed, either the hosts stay here themselves often or have great hospitality instincts.

We loved the Tiny Home! It was very private, very accommodating for the three of us, and many hiking areas in the area. In the two days there, went to the Allegheny Gorge Overlook and Rockland Woodhill Tunnel, wished we had at least another day to enjoy the region. We were already talking about the next visit on the way home. Definitely recommend!

This property was private and quiet. The home was well kept and just the right size for a quick peaceful getaway for our family of four. We enjoyed sitting on the porch playing games and sitting around the fire, eating s'mores in the evenings.

I surprised my husband with a little getaway to unwind and disconnect from the hustle and bustle. We brought along our two dogs, and we had the best time! Our host was super attentive and provided clear directions, which made everything so easy. The tiny cabin totally exceeded my expectations—it even had a Blackstone grill! We absolutely adored this place and can’t wait to return!
We absolutely adore the getaway cabins, but honestly, this option was even better for the price!

This house and surrounding property were picturesque, private, and easy to find. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. The main fire pit area was fully stocked with outdoor furniture and firewood. The covered front porch was a great spot to unwind during the golden hour. And the a/c was a game changer in July. I know a number of reviews mention the driveway, but in a mid size SUV it was a non issue. We loved this listing and will absolutely be returning. It's definitely one of the best Pittsburgh area listings available on Hipcamp.

We've stayed here multiple times and this time was just wonderful! Our daughter just graduated from GCC and we were able to gather in the pavilion for a small family celebration! The house was just as we remembered and I love the common outside space! Thank you so much for allowing us the use of your wonderful space!

This was the perfect getaway. Nestled in the woods with so much privacy. The tiny home was adorable and had everything you could need. We loved the front porch and pavilion. We grilled and made breakfast on the Blackstone! Our dog loved running around the land and had a blast. Perfect location with a short drive to Moraine State Park and McConnell Mills. We’d love to come back!

Beautiful little getaway. My daughter and I went early January and it had snowed the night we went. The quiet was refreshing and much needed. We will hopefully be returning in the future, I would love to be able to explore the area a bit better!
