The property consists of 64.91 acres of old farm property, offering a mix of woodland and open yard for camping. It is a primitive camping area.
Currently, there are no designated sites; simply choose a spot to enjoy your camping experience.
It is an excellent location for vancamping, and only a ten-minute drive from Bald Eagle State Park, where you can enjoy activities such as swimming, boat rentals, and biking trails at the lake.
Additionally, there is a ten-minute walk to Beech Creek Stream, providing a great opportunity for swimming.
You will also find hiking trails available on the farm property, allowing you to explore the natural beauty of the surroundings.Developing an attractive property into a campground, there is ample clear area in the yards where campers can pick a private spot. Additionally, there are a couple of quaint, hidden-away tent or van sites available. Fire pits can be added to the prospective sites, and there are already a couple of nice established fire pit areas. Guests can enjoy beautiful sunrises and indulge in birdwatching, hiking. Half mile walk to beech creek stream for swimming... Spectacular views of PA mountains, between plateau region and ridge and valley region.
For the convenience of campers, there is a shower and toilet available for use in the main house for small fee, $5/day. Additionally, there is a primitive outdoor shower and portable camping privy. Firewood available for very small fee@ 5/ wheelbarrow load... Or folks can gather ample campfire wood... there is also a pet fee of $5.00/stay.
