Been there a couple times and this spot never disappoints! Great hosts, beautiful camping area, perfect for stargazing or just to have a relaxing few days in a serene environment. I couldn’t rave enough about this place!! 10/10 always!!

Fantastic place to camp. Unfortunately weather wasn't perfect so we didn't get to see the stars, but there is always next time! If you stay here make sure to check out the town of Coudersport

We loved tent camping at John & Olga’s farm!! John was super friendly and knowledgeable about astronomy, and he told us the perfect time to get up to see the best stars. The site was private and the compost toilet was no more than 30 steps from our tent. We even had a cat friend come visit us several times throughout our stay! We will definitely be back!

Stargazing Field at Olga Farm
John and Olga are phenomenal hosts and have amazing and well maintained land! This was our 5th trip and will be back again next year. Each year the space looks just as wonderful as last. This year there was a pop up star tour with telescopes and all. It was a wonderful addition to our trip. Pack accordingly for cold weather and enjoy the positive vibes and good company.

John and Olga were wonderful hosts and we had an amazing time staying with them! The nearby town, Coudersport, is adorable with cute cafes and artist shops. Olga’s home also has many artist items you can buy, all very beautiful! Bathrooms were clean and well maintained, though it would have been nice to have a light in the bathroom because you have to bring your own. We got to se the perseids meteor shower though conditions weren’t the best. Be prepared to stay up very late in order to see the best stars!

We’ve stayed at Olgas a few times now, and each time is awesome. It’s perfect for stargazing. Also, the compost toilets are a nice plus- much better than a porta potty. This is our go-to spot for stargazing.

Was FAR beyond any expectations I had about staying on the farm!! Olga and John met us upon arrival, we chatted for several minutes, purchased wood and John escorted us to our site. The site was very secluded, we had our own outhouse, which was clean, well built and safe. The few other campers we saw were very respectful of the property and other campers.
John later showed us the bath house, again, clean, well built and PLENTY of hot water! We walked the property and inspected some of canvas tents that have been erected on the farm and WOW, are they cozy! Wasn’t expecting that! Love the vibe, love their respect for the Earth and loved them! Both are truly wonderful, hardworking people that have opened their property for others to share. Great experience and would love to come back!

We absolutely loved staying at Olga Farm! Our tent campsite was large enough to park on and have ample space. We loved making our campfire. The bathrooms were very clean, and of course, the night sky views could not have been better. We can't wait to go back!

The farm is beautiful, and John and Olga are very nice and welcoming. We felt at home for our entire stay. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a pleasant camping experience and some good stargazing.

Stargazing Field at Olga Farm
From the moment we arrived, John made us feel completely welcome. As a host, he was not only incredibly friendly and accommodating but also impressively knowledgeable about the night sky. John took the time to help us choose the perfect campsite based on what we wanted to experience, ensuring we were set up comfortably and well-positioned for optimal stargazing. His passion for astronomy was evident and added a truly special element to our stay. He even gave us a heads-up about an upcoming meteor shower and showed us exactly where to look. Thanks to his guidance, we witnessed an unforgettable celestial display—easily one of the most breathtaking views of the Milky Way I’ve ever seen. At 1:30 AM, just as John had said, the sky opened up into a dazzling spectacle of stars. It truly felt like you could see every star ever made. The farm itself is well-maintained and peaceful, offering a clean and scenic environment for campers. Even though it got quite cold during the night, the beauty of the clear skies and tranquil setting made it more than worth it.
While the coyotes were quite vocal during the night, it only added to the sense of being immersed in nature—an authentic part of the experience rather than a drawback. This was our first visit, and it certainly won’t be our last. I can confidently say we would choose John and Olga’s farm over Cherry Springs State Cherry Springs State Park any day for stargazing. The experience was worth every penny. 100% recommend. 100% returning.

John and Olga’s farm was great! We were greeted by John with fresh eggs, firewood and information on the best views of the stars. Even though we had clouds and rain, it was still so peaceful and private. We will definitely be booking again!

Stargazing Field at Olga Farm
This campsite was fantastic! John was super helpful pointing out the perfect times to stargaze and helping us decide where to walk to get better views on his property. Olga's artwork is beautiful and their food products to buy are delicious. The bathrooms were well maintained as well. I will definitely revisit this campsite and encourage anyone looking for a campsite in this area to camp with John and Olga.

We loved car camping at Olga Farms! It was incredibly beautiful, clean, and easy to navigate. John was very helpful in getting us to our campsite and had so much knowledge about star gazing. I would absolutely stay here again!

This place was awesome! The hosts John and Olga were very kind and helpful. We felt so welcomed. The campsites are easy to get to and you have a great view of the stars at night. They also hosted a Star tour that we got to be apart of and it was a lot of fun and we learned a ton! They also had some people jamming and playing live music. It was a great camp experience and certainly one we’ll be doing again.

John and Olga were quite friendly and accommodating and I would recommend this site for someone looking to see stars. The site wasn’t what we were expecting due to the steep incline to carry our tent equipment and ability to see other campers; we tend to stay at more private spots while also enjoying the night sky. John’s discussion of a plethora of biting insects and very cold temperatures sealed the deal for us to not stay at our site. We’ve camped in mountains plenty of times so cold wasn’t the sole factor. That being said, the property is beautiful and I take responsibility for not realizing in the photos that the sites could all see each other. It wasn’t for us but I would still recommend this site to anyone looking for stargazing.

Great first time solo camping at John and Olga's farm. Both are very nice and I enjoyed talking to them. John pointed out some great places to hike and was very knowledgeable on when to view the stars. Planning on going again! Felt very safe!

Hospitality is unparalleled. What a unique little place with cozy cabins. We are still enjoying the best pickled garlic and salsa that we picked up from their artsy shop on site.

John, the host, is very responsive and kind. I arrived in a Sedan on a rainy day and he was very accommodating. He helped move my gear to the site. The compost toilet is very clean and doesn't smell bad. The compost toilet is pitch dark even during the day so I highly recommend bringing some sort of hanging lantern with you. The site was clean, well kept, and wide. You'll be on grass which acts as a lovely cushion. The space between you and possible neighbors is very generous. The views at night are spectacular. The views of the land during the day is peaceful. It's very quiet at night. During the day, you'll occasionally hear side-by-side, and ATV driving on the access road if you're at a walk in site. There's no Internet here so it's a good time to disconnect. Overall, my stay was pleasant and I recommend this.

Always love coming to Olga's Farm. John meets us and leads us to the best available spot and gives us a weather update so even when it's cloudy like it was this weekend we have an idea of when the starts might be out overnight in case we go to sleep before the clouds break. Had a great, if short, view of the stars last night.
