It was a perfect place to unwind and recharge our batteries. The host seemingly thought of every detail to make it comfortable while still having the rustic charm we hoped for. It’s made us want to build a permanent campsite at our property after experiencing this. It truly is a piece of Heaven and we will be back

Rebecca and her family were magnificent hosts for our family. They were so kind, and made sure we had everything we needed and more. The tent itself was so cozy and the bathroom very clean. We enjoyed making s’mores atvthe campfire and gazing at the beautiful starry sky. We even got to meet the farm animals before we left. It was a great to have our own private space and we highly recommend staying here!

Ridge Top Retreat is, by far, the most unique and well-done Hipcamps I’ve visited. The interior of the tent is beautifully decorated and the propane furnace kept it toasty warm on a cool fall evening. The “outhouse” has a portable toilet and a hot shower with an instant water heater powered by solar panels. The host provided plenty of firewood and even started a fire for us! With no ambient light, the stars and Milky Way were beautiful! The setting is gorgeous, set on a high spot with an incredible view across the hayfield to a beautiful country church and cemetery. I highly recommend this very special place.

Ridge Top Retreat
We loved our stay. Quiet, peaceful, a nice weekend getaway. It gives the “off the grid” vibes, but still has everything you really need. The outdoor shower made the experience unique!

We had an amazing time! We traveled with our two boys and enjoyed the fire and all the land, we saw so many stars at night and slept so well. The tent was adorable and so cozy with the heater. Thanks to Becky for a great couple of days!

This HipCamp is awesome! I am an avid tent camper but wanted something easy and comfortable - Ridge Top Retreat was perfect. I stayed two nights but wished for more. The site is nestled back in the trees next to a field. I was greeted with fresh flowers in multiple vases, adding a nice homey touch. The tent is wonderful. Comfortable bed, clean linens, twinkle lights, cozy blankets and pillows. I was pleased to find lanterns, extra batteries and a first aid kit. Such a cute bathroom! How can a bathroom be cute? You’ll see! The outdoor shower has warm water (turn on the propane tank first, then hit the switch for instant hot water!) and a port-a-potty type bucket toilet. Very very clean bathroom, stocked with towels/soap/etc, and even has a motion sensor nightlight. The fire ring is stocked with plenty of firewood, and lighter fluid if you forget to bring newspaper/starters. A handy grate is available, and a few pans, to cook your food. Bring foil and your lighter and you’re all set. Note that there is a fridge in some photos and reviews- there is no longer a fridge, so make sure you have a cooler. Gas stations aren’t too far if you need ice and snacks. My pup and I did a day trip to Prince Galitzen park (25 minutes). At night, we lit the tiki torches (citronella fluid provided), sat around the fire (chairs provided) and wandered into the field to star gaze. I would love to return.

This is our 2nd time staying at Ridgetop Retreat and it was even better than the 1st time. The glamping tent is extra cozy this year, there’s a new small fridge to keep your groceries in and a new/different potty setup. You truly do have everything you’ll ever need in this secluded, peaceful getaway. The hosts are so kind and giving, we received a goody bag waiting for us when we checked in. They are always available during your stay should you need anything. This retreat is something we look forward to now, yearly.

We loved our stay at Ridgetop Retreat. You get the perfect mix of field and woods. It was peaceful and comfortable and we had more than we could ask for as far as what was provided for ammenities.Rebecca and her husband were very friendly and hospitable and replied quickly when we needed water refilled etc. We would definitely come again!

I wanna thank Rebecca for an amazing place to stay. First off the tent was very inviting inside and very well decorated. 2nd this site had literally everything you can think of to go camping. Very well stocked with all types of cooking wear, dishes, silverware, spices, coffee, creamer, tea etc. I highly recommend visiting the farm for a relaxing time away from everyone.

This glamping site literally has everything you need for a peaceful getaway in the country. The tent itself is very rugged and durable, well built and maintained. The inside decor makes you feel right at home with all the little details, we forgot this was camping. The bed (memory foam) was very comfy and I liked that there was a comfortable chair to sit inside the tent to read and write. Outside you have a beautiful deck to sit out in the morning overlooking the neighboring farm lands while enjoying morning coffee and listening to the still of nature that surrounds. There’s a really cool firepit with plenty of seating and the detachable grill top came in very handy during our stay to cook dinner outdoors. There’s also a full kitchen cabinet with everything you need to cook a meal if you didn’t have anything yourself. The picnic table and benches looked brand new, unlike any we’ve seen before, very high quality. Then you have an outdoor bath house with toilet and shower (it has running HOT water). Did I forget to mention there’s tiki torches around the camp and all the firewood you need (supplied by the host) for night time bonfires and smores. There’s truly nothing that you need, it’s all been provided for you. The hosts are very likeable, down to earth people that you could literally spend days talking to. Rebecca and her Family where absolutely amazing. The camp site was very well thought out, the fire pit was perfect. The best surprise was the peace and quiet, seeing deer in the morning was also perfect. The loo and shower house open to the air was an amazing experience. The tent was very clean, dry and very well supplied. We will definitely revisit on our next trip to Pennsylvania.

We could not have asked for a more perfect place to get away for our anniversary. The views alone were worth it but that isnt even the half of it. You really feel secluded. All you need are your clothes and a cooler of food. Everything else you could possibly ever want or need are provided. Every utensil, dish, and seasoning to cook on the fire or camp stove(which they provide). Blankets, towels, wash cloths, soap, shampoo, bug spray, lanterns, playing cards and other games. I could go on and on about everything they provided. Rebecca is an amazing host. You know that they really care about the camp.

I got there as it got dark and Rebecca helped me pick a close spot where I could set up, which I was appreciative of. I would probably cone back and try the more dispersed option.

Ridge Top Retreat
Very pretty site. Bed was comfy and plenty of blankets and a small cot for a child to use. Stove for cooking with pot and pan. Bathroom was equipped with basic needs. That was a plus! Host went all out and it took away a lot of the typical camping hassle and pressure to remember everything. And she was sweet enough to let us see her livestock and pet the piggies. Had no issues while we stayed here.

Relaxing and rejuvenating!!! We had a wonderful time unwinding and disconnecting. Everything was as expected and more! The host was very welcoming and offered above and beyond amenities! The tent was comfortable and cosy. Thank you so much!

Rebecca has created a wonderful little getaway place. The spot is quiet and filled with birdsong. It rained a lot this weekend, but the tent stayed dry and comfortable.
When Rebecca says you only need to bring food and clothes, she means it. She provided everything else, making for a very easy and relaxing time. Would recommend

The location was beautiful. We hiked the property and watched the sunset from a trail in the woods. The site had absolutely everything you could need, which made things so convenient. It was a chilly weekend and the heater in our tent kept things cozy. Becky was extremely helpful and we definitely plan to return!

We really enjoyed the private setting in the country. The next best part was the tent site, everything was so nice and clean. The site had everything we needed. The hosts were super nice and even showed us the newest addition to their farm, a baby goat. Would definitely stay again!
