Host wasn’t home, but left good instructions, and was good at responding to questions. I had no problem finding a level spot. Didn’t get a chance to see much due to the first good rain in weeks. Would go back, if for no other reason than to see the view from the tower.

Phenomenal site on Kevins land! Gave us extremely clear instructions on how to get to the site and was very responsive. Perfect for a good night rest under the bright stars.

Easy to book, easy to find, and felt VERY private. Me and my little dog camped there for a night, and communication was great! Lots of level ground to camp on, and I loved the little string lights.

This is such a good spot, im hesitant to leave a review bc i dont want it to blow up lol. Literally perfect. Quiet, peaceful, extraordinary views. Paige was went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. She was so hospitable and accommodating, taking wonderful care of guests and the property.. We cant wait to return !

I wish we had more time there! It was a last minute booking on our way to New York. We couldn’t have found a better spot. Dark night sky, hot tub, quiet, private, beautiful views. We got in late and didn’t have to do anything other than put up our hammocks and go to sleep. You don’t have to think about locking anything up. We were free to roam the property. We loved the tower view of the sunset. We got to see the Milky Way while lying down on the hill. Our son decided to stay on the hill to sleep for the night so he could watch the stars. The host was quick to respond to any questions on the app.
As someone with multiple orthopedic issues the hot tub was amazing! My only recommendation is to put some sort of railing to step up onto the deck to use the hot tub. Our whole family agreed that it was the nicest hot tub we had ever used.
We don’t come this way often but we will definitely stay here again if we do!

Stayed one night after spending time at the Tioga Fair. Kevin was very friendly and accommodating when I had to check in after dark. Campsite was easy to find and I hope to visit again soon!

The campsite was awesome. We had the place to ourselves this weekend. It was HOT and because of that, we ran our (quiet) generator and didn't feel like we were disturbing anyone. There was plenty of firewood to be found in the woods. We camped near the tower so we went up it a few times. The view was great. The bugs ... what bugs! I think I got bit by a couple of flies but that was it. This was the most bug free I've ever been. It was truly a nice relaxing weekend. The hot tub was clean and relaxing (once we lowered the temp to 95).
The ONLY problem we had was driving in. We knew (well my wife knew because she read the campsite notes) that there was a steep hill driving up the driveway. My little Ford Maverick pulling the camper struggled on the hill up. This is the only reason I would hesitate coming back.
I would 100% recommend this site to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend. Thanks for opening up your property to Hip Camp!
NOTE: The HipCamp question was ... "Would I come back here again." Most likely I would not BUT NOT DUE TO THE CAMP QUALITY. The issues I have are with pulling a camper that's close to my max towing capacity up a big hill. This site was a wonderful campsite.

This place is an absolute gem. Honestly, one of the best sites I've found on this app. The amenities are exceptional, the views are amazing, and the host is very hospitable and has excellent communication. I really cant speak highly enough of this spot. The views at sunset from the lookout tower are absolutely amazing. After sunset, I used the hot tub, and then settled into the hammock on site. I had set up my tent but ended up sleeping in the hammock instead because I got so comfortable and relaxed. It is absolutely unheard of to have this many amenities for the price. Honestly, they would be entirely justified in tripling the price. It has every thing you could possible want - privacy, lighting, some electric, amazing views, fire pit, hammock, hot tub, etc. I am a single female and felt super safe solo camping here as well. Definitely will be back.

Kevin was super nice and very accommodating! I had a quick stop in over night just be closer to some hiking spots. Sadly it was cloudy from storms so I didn't get to see any stars. Definitely want to come back to enjoy the views!

My friends and I had a wonderful time camping here. Kevin is a great host and his hospitality is top notch. We were lucky enough to catch a few breaks in the clouds and see the star-filled sky from the lookout tower. It was a fantastic experience all around!

A wonderful site, a kind host, a warm fire, and a bubbly hot tub, what's not to loVE! Had an awesome weekend at this location. Kevin offered to have a fire started upon arrival which was nice (although I didn't take him up on it) and allowed me to use his bathroom :)

The place was beautiful and well kept maintained. My dog was able to roam without bothering anyone. The host went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable! You are far enough away you feel like your alone, but only a short drive from stores and whatnot. Kevin has amazingly unique decor in his living room!!
If I am ever in the area again this will be the first place I look for availability!

Kevin is a very generous and friendly host and his property is beautiful! We initially booked a lawn site but when we arrived realized it was tricky to find a nice flat spot for our camper van + anxious/occasionally loud dogs so Kevin moved us to the Tower site. The views are great, lots of trails to wander around, and being able to shower inside was great. We didn’t get around to getting in the hot tub but it has an awesome view! If the sites are all booked at the same time it could get a little crowded, but sites are still better spaced out than a campground. The overlook/apple orchard site seems to be the most private. Overall I would definitely recommend this spot, especially since the profits go to helping animals in need!

Kevin is very welcoming on his property. We enjoyed exploring the trails and soaking up the great view from the lookout tower. Kevin is truly an animal lover, very accepting of my nervous pup! I’ll definitely come back!

Kevin is an extremely kind host with a gorgeous property. He was very easy to communicate with prior to arrival and made sure to let me know he was there for anything I may need throughout my stay.
I chose to come on a weekend with a high chance of wind/rain but still had such a relaxing time.
The clouds kept away overhead allowing for a beautiful view of the stars while staying warm in the hot tub. Kevin turned off most of his interior lights for me for the best view possible as well.
I slept in as the rain held off until early morning hours and spent majority of the day just sitting on the tower, reading and taking in the 360 mountain views. There are mowed paths throughout the property to explore, making it easy to lose track of time. But Kevin can also tell you of plenty activities nearby.
You can tell a lot of time, energy, and love has gone into this property.
Oh, my car also died around 11:30 pm and Kevin was more than willing to help me out.
HIGHLY recommend… I can’t wait to go back!

The host was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to use their guest washroom and the hot tub in the backyard, which offered stunning views. There’s also a lookout tower perfect for stargazing. It was a fantastic experience staying there, and we’re excited to return in the fall.

We stayed over Labor Day weekend, and couldn’t have asked for a better spot! Kevin went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and it’s easy to see he very much cares about, and promotes the local community. The tower and hot tub were great, and the sites were private with a nice hedge row for separation. Mansfield is only 5-10 min away where we found a small downtown district with two nice coffee shops, a brewery (great burgers!) and a bar with patio. The driveway is nice stone, and in summer weather seems easily possible with a passenger car. Very dark at night for stargazing! Thanks again Kevin!

We had a great time camping at the overlook site! There is lots to do in the surrounding area and we would love to come back to experience more. Sunrise and sunset from the observation tower were amazing. Kevin was a very accommodating host and his communication was great!
