Located 26 miles south of Burns on Highway 205, The Narrows RV Park is the perfect base camp for your exploration of Harney County and Southeast Oregon. The Narrows is just steps away from Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, and provides easy access to other high desert attractions such as the Steens Mountain Recreation Area, The Alvord Desert, The Hart Mountain Antelope Refuge and The Diamond Craters Loop. Our quality amenities go a long way towards making guests feel comfortable, like they’ve found a home-away-from-home. This is a very quiet, beautiful area nestled between the Steens Mountain and the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge for amazing hiking and wildlife spotting (especially birds rarely seen). We have up to 15 Tent Camping sites where you can comfortably pitch your tent on our spacious grassy area and the RV Restrooms and clean drinking water are near by. We also have regular RV sites available for your Van, Camper, Trailer, Motorhome are also available that come equipped with water, sewer, electricity for an additional fee. On the property we offer The Jackalope Bar and Grill, Fully Stocked Mini-Mart, ATM, 3 Complete Bathrooms with hot showers, Self Service Laundry Machines, Gas & Diesel, Propane, Ice, Site Patios and Fire Pits! We have everything that you’ll need right here at The Narrows so that you can focus on exploring the rich wildlife, or just rest, relax and recharge. ABOUT: Malheur National Wildlife Refuge - The incredible Malheur National Wildlife Refuge is part of the Pacific Flyway and offers 320 bird species, 58 mammal species and 10 species of native fish! It truly is a mecca for birdwatchers from all over the world. We are conveniently located within a 5 minute drive from the visitor center, which you should certainly explore. The Refuge is open daily with the sun, opening at sunrise and closing at sunset. ABOUT: Steens Mountain One of the great geologic features of Oregon’s Great Basin Desert, Steens is one of the most scenic regions in the West, with peaks rising as high as 9,700 feet. Expect to see herds of wild mustang roaming free and beautiful wild flowers blowing in the wind overlooking incredible vistas. Steens Mountain is just waiting for you to experience its majestic beauty.

This is a very quiet, beautiful area nestled between the Steens Mountain and the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge for amazing hiking and wildlife spotting (especially birds rarely seen). The cabin is located in a quiet, spacious corner of the park surrounded by luscious green grass and beautifully shaded by a majestically full willow tree. Inside this two room cabin you will find two Queen size beds and pull out sofa accommodating up to 6 person.(s) The kitchen area is equipped with a microwave, mini refrigerator, stove burners, Toaster, Coffee Machine, dishes and utensils to help prepare and serve meals. All of which to help make this your home away from home. We also offer on the property 5 Complete Bathrooms with hot showers (Showers are coin operated, $2.00 for the 1st 2 min. and $.50 for each minute thereafter), Self Service Laundry Machines, Gas & Diesel, Propane, Ice., and Fire Pits And just a few steps away we also have The Narrows Mercantile and The Jackalope Bar and Grill. *We are pet friendly and welcome your furry friends, but a $25.00 non-refundable pet cleaning fee will be collected at the time of check in.* We have everything that you’ll need right here at The Narrows so that you can focus on exploring the rich wildlife, or just rest, relax and recharge.
