We had a wonderful time, the camp was lovingly maintained. They had everything we needed from plates to silverware and cooking utensils to pans. There was a lot of local wildlife that wandered through including a hunting marmot. It was an amazing time away from it all and cannot recommend it enough

It was a nice couple nights at the cabin. My dog and I enjoyed the freedom of the place. Julia and hubby are very nice and accomodating. I recommend this for a great little get away in the country.

We had a fantastic time at Jamink farm, it is just a picture perfect cozy cabin by a pond. Lots of activities to do, there are kayaks, paddleboards, canoe at your disposal. The cabin is equipped with everything you could want. We highly recommend the breakfast bundle, all the items were fresh and yummy!! Definitely adding to our favourite escapes.

I was there for one night with my two children 14 and 17. We had a very relaxing stay. Very quiet. My son took the farm tour which he loved. I am planing to go back!

Great spot, not too far away from civilisation! amazing night, loved the pond as well. Fabtastic way to disconnect from the city. Owners were amazing and helpful, easy to reach.

The camp site is absolutely wonderful, the cabin is cozy and there is a very campfire nice seating area next to it (the fairy lights that turn up at night makes the whole area really pretty)
Julia was a great host, she answered all my questions and was super helpful

Map is direct. Clear and simple instructions provided to navigate farm. Greeted upon arrival and welcomed to contact them if needed. Three main paths: left-boats, middle-windmill path (cabin), right: off grid. Animals: horses, cows, chicken coop. The grounds were organized and clean. Cabin: dressed beds, coffee grounds, stove top coffee pot, tea bags, peanut butter pretzels, bowls, plate, utensils and cooking gear, wash bucket, cloths, first aid kit, cleaning wipes, paper towel, toilet paper, salt and pepper. There’s a lock on the door(inside)! Fan and charger works-solar powered (1/2 nights). Outside: lights-to the potty. Clean garbage, camping chairs, Adirondack chairs (the turquoise ones rock), laundry lines, kids life jacket, basic fishing gear. Water in insulated jug they give you stayed cold even in sun 2 days. Potty is clean, sand for stools, towel, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, lock. Boats: canoe, kayaks, pedal boat, paddle boards, different oars. Cows walk by around cabin around 7pm. Dogs ran around cabin and paths safely. Bugs were only present in forest and at night (if window/door left open). Heard coyote-no issues. Walked around farm-didn’t see a soul (only cows). Heard their dog a couple of times barking quietly.They are far enough that your dogs won’t run into her unless you go meet her-she’s friendly. Lake is refreshing, clean, turtles, small fish. RENT IT!!!!!

We loved seeing all of the wildlife and farmstock that would just hang out around the cabin. We would definetly recommend the tour! Our guides were very knowledgable about what they do and showed us some on the best looking calves and chickens youll see around.

I had an incredible time at The Goose! This was my second time staying there and I loved it both times. My dogs enjoy it so much. I’m very thankful to have found somewhere that my dogs are welcome. This is a great halfway point location for me to stay when travelling to New Brunswick. The cabin is always very clean and everything is set up. I can’t wait to go back!

Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience here. I ended up not staying as the cabin had not been cleaned and was filthy. The location was perfect, secluded and right by the small lake with kayaks and a firepit available to use, and communication with the host was great. So it was really disappointing to find the cabin in the condition it was in. I did receive an apology and full refund from the host which I greatly appreciated.

I loved staying here. It’s a great secluded spot the perfect distance from the farm. you could still hear the animals but it wasn’t so loud that it would wake you up at night. They also let the cows roam freely in the forest near your cabin before dark and it’s very nice to see. The host was very welcoming and kind. They have plenty of helpful utilities included such as an axe, wood stove, bbq, plates, water, even watercraft’s like a canoe and paddle board. The cabin itself was lovely and right by the fantastic little pond with little friendly fish that swim near you. I also took the farm tour and the host was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. A huge bonus was they even have a shop where you can buy fresh eggs, meat, spices and soup kits at affordable prices. If you can’t tell by this review I absolutely loved my stay here. I loved it so much that I already booked it for next weekend!

Julia is a great host! She's super friendly, and accommodating. The cabin is really nice and cozy, and the area to camp is far enough away from the farm that it's nice and private. Lots of things to do as well, like kayak, canoe, fish, swim etc. Absolutely will book again!

We loved everything about the property, from the animals at the farm to the pond. The pond was our absolute favorite part of our trip. It’s absolutely busting with fish my daughter even caught one with just a net. Our hosts were very welcoming and we look forward to staying there again!

First of all Julia is a super host and she makes the best yogurt. The property has boats, fishing nets, gas BBQ , piles of fire woods and the best thing, it was sooooo peaceful. My kids spent the best time ever in the water. I wish I could stay there for a little longer.
A few things were unexpected. The photos showed a plugged in Toaster and Fridge, which gave me an idea of hydro available in the cabin, but there's no hydro. And the bedding were beyond usable. The recycle bean and garbage bucket were overflowing and the cabin was not cleaned after the last camper and not prepared for us at all. Anyone planning to camp there please keep in your mind to bring bedding, lots of cleaning products, big flush lights, enormous amount of bug spray( the flies bites and very painfully itchy), try to sleep in your own tents as the bunk beds have piles of flies and bugs which crawled all over us and me and my husband were busy to keep our children safe all night without any sleep. I had no other choice but to cut our 2 nights stay and left early.
It is a great campsite to spend a very relaxed, peaceful time only if you are prepared properly. Highly recommend this site but with proper preparations.

I really enjoyed my stay at Julia's cabin. The farm tour was very insightful and fun and Julia and the family were very welcoming. The location is peaceful next to nature and a pond. The pond was great to canoe in! Plus there was the bonus of busy farm life nearby. The cabin was sweet and cozy. Would highly recommend.

I love the whole place! From the cabin, to the lake, the trail, the lightings, even the farm is so beautiful to me! And Julia is so thoughtful and responsive, she is a perfect host. Thomas came to me and we had a great conversation. He even offered me a spare bedroom if it’s too freezing at night. I will definitely go back in Spring or Summer.

We enjoyed our stay at Julia's land. The long walks through the surrounding forest was relaxing. We will definitely come back in the summer to take advantage of the sweet little pond. Our night was spent at the firepit. The cabin was charming but a little cold for November weather. Next time we will definitely take the farm tour. Thank you for accepting our last minute booking.

We loved our weekend at the Goose cabin! Julia had the fire going for our arrival and we enjoyed both the wood stove and outdoor fire pit. There was everything you could think of available from bed sheets to cutlery and soap to boats and fishing poles. Plus enjoyed visits from the cows! Highly recommend!!

Julia s is a very rustic experience. The cabin is adorable and cosy warm even in October thanks to the wood-burning stove inside. It sits on the side of an inviting pond we used for kayaking and sitting on the floating dock made us feel like we were at the cottage. We had a fire going day and night. Thanks to the big removable grill we were able to cook all our food out there AND make and heat our morning coffee. Some very funny novelty screwers made cooking hotdogs extra entertaining…for the adult-crowd anyway! I had ordered extra firewood, the breakfast box (with food from the farm itself!), and a farm visit. I d do all that again- really increased our enjoyment of our time spent at The Goose.
Julia and her family are very welcoming. She s a formidable person running an impressive operation with lots of irons in the fire for future farm projects.
The cows milling around the cabin in the evening are charming, the trails intriguing, and the whole experience simply wonderful.
