People who run the place are awesome and super friendly. The people who camp there are as well. My girlfriend and I enjoyed every second of our stay! The showers were definitely an attractive outdoorsy experience. Campsites all were kept up with, the your was informative. I can't comment on the lake, I didn't take the time to see it sadly but I bet that is well worth it. We had all the privacy we needed. Already recommended the place to family and friends out on the east coast!

Tent camping on Shane’s land was my favorite, so spacious and private. The trees and trails were breathtaking taking. If I’m ever in OK again I’m making a pit stop :)

Shane’s place was great! Lots of space between other campers. There is shade in every spot and the grounds were kept well. Outhouse bathroom was clean.

The host was so sweet and met us to show us around even though we arrived late. The location was safe and perfect for us to car camp during our road trip. The restroom was clean and close to our camp spot.

Teepee - Queen Deluxe
Beautiful location, very private and lots of nice options for tent camping. We ended up not staying the night however, because we were covered in ticks. We took bug spray, but we must have picked thirty ticks off of ourselves and our dogs. And we’re still finding ticks on the dogs two days later. Other than that, the site was perfect.

Campsite was great and so was Shane! Easy to find and well maintained. We enjoyed camping here in the evening, and we enjoyed driving over to play all day at Gathering Place.

Shanes land was very nice and clean. Spots were secluded and private. The teepees were very cool and the kids loved exploring. The lake is a short walk. Will definitely stay again

Shane was an excellent host and so were his dogs! The lake and the surrounding nature was beyond breathtaking. My stay was exactly what the doctor ordered. Peaceful, quiet, and overall relaxing. The camp sites are well maintained as well. I definitely plan on a return trip in the future. Thanks again!

Shane welcomed me on arrival which was so kind so I could easily be directed to my tent space and know where the necessities were. It is such beautiful, clean land. I only camped for a night on my travels out east but it was a lovely stay.

Me and my friends just spent the weekend at Shane’s place. Beautiful soft grass, Lots of shade, And it wasn’t a very Long hike to the lake. The outdoor shower was also also a plus. 10/10 Recommend.

What an incredible place to stay. Shane and his family have provided a stunning experience down to the detail. I am so excited to bring my friends back for a full retreat experience. From the outdoor shower to the excluded setting this was everything I had hopped for this trip. The bed was the best night sleep. Thank you again for the lovely stay. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Absolutely loved this place! Great area with lots to do! I cannot wait to take my family back. Shane is a wonderful host and was very kind. The property felt secluded but it wasn’t miles away in the middle of nowhere which was a plus for me.

We had a lovely stay! We loved the ambiance that the teepee provided, and the area was secluded enough without feeling like we were truly in the middle of nowhere. Bonus points for having cell service still and for the bed keeping us warm when the temperature dropped into the 40s at night!

Enjoyed tent camping here, Shane's land is beautiful day and night, very large, and clean. Trails are clear, but dark at night, so definitely bring lights. Looking forward to staying again.

I wanted to take my 9 yr old son on his very first camping trip, so after seeing great reviews for Eagle Mountain, I decided to take him here. We had the best time and he absolutely loved his first camping trip! It was clean, secluded, quiet, and perfect for a camping trip with my son. To top it all off, we happened to run into the grounds owner, Shane, and he was so extremely friendly and kind. He took time out of his day, at least 45 mins to an hour, to take my son and I on a walk down the trail to the lake. We didn’t know of this trail so her was kind enough to personally take us. He answered any and all questions I had, and made my son’s first camping trip that much more special. I cannot recommend this place enough! We will definitely be going back, multiple times, to stay here again!

Peaceful, beautiful campground and surrounding wooded walking paths. Comfortable tent camping-fair proximity to rv camping. Relatively busy late evening traffic, but community was quiet and respectful.
Nicely constructed cold water shower and sink was an added bonus.
Toilets were clean and logs showed they are maintained on a regular basis.
Shane was welcoming and kind.

Shane’s land had multiple sites to pitch a tent so privacy wasn’t an issue. The ground is flat and free of debris. I was pleased to find multiple bathrooms on site and a working shower and water spigot. The host was very kind and helpful.

Great spot for exploring the local rec areas or just getting away from the city for a night. I had a tent site that was close to the RV spots but still had good privacy. There are other sites a bit farther away if you want to feel more secluded. Wanted to play the disc golf course -- the weather didn't cooperate, but maybe I can try it next time.

Lots of different areas to tent camp. I was the only tent so felt relatively secluded. Cold shower was great on a hot day. Portable was super clean. Jill was kind enough to offer water while the water source there was temporarily unavailable. Wish i had gone to the lake, but didn’t have time.
