Nice secluded place. Other campers nearby yet privacy was not an issue. Facilities consist of port a potty only which is as described. Water and electric was good. Internet was spotty at first yet worked fine after host reset the system. Host were responsive and friendly. I would consider staying here again if in the area.

Well-Traveled was awesome! Quiet and secluded without being too far away from anything. 15 mins to town with grocery stores and things to do. Saw lots of wildlife and never had any issues during our stay. The driveway at the site is a little steep, but we had no problems with our AWD SUV + Pop-Up camper.

Nice shaded spot with a picnic table and fire pit. The driveway to the property winds along a cow pasture and we saw three turkeys on our way in.
The property itself seemed very private, there were two RVs and a small cabin next to our site. The RVs were empty but someone was at the cabin. We heard them drive in and that was it.
The Parking/gravel area was just big enough for 2 vehicles and the picnic table. We had a 4-door wrangler, 3 camping chairs, and a 1 person tent/cot and that took up the entire parking area. There was some open area next to the fire pit that we could have moved the tent to just in mind that 2 vehicles will fill the whole area. There was a porta potty just across the gravel road, close to the site.
There was an electric hook up just close enough for us to plug into. The water spigot was close as well.

Property is very beautiful and well maintained. Caroline was very welcoming and provided details about the property as well as very good directions to site. My family and I found it very peaceful and relaxing. Next time we travel to North Carolina we are definitely coming back! Thank you!

We brought our own camper and the space Caroline provided was perfect! There was a leveled gravel pad with a picnic table. The water and electric hook-ups were close (we didn't need an extension cable). Right above the gravel pad is a firepit with wood provided. She added some nice touches with flower planters in the campsite. The outhouse was very clean too. We would definitely return!

Well Traveled was an amazing place! Beautiful setting in the woods with lots of special touches around our campsite! Flowers planted and potted all around, plenty of firewood provided during our stay, very clean and well-kept! We loved the quiet seclusion. There is also a camper nearby for guests to rent out, but we felt like there is a nice distance between the spots so you still have plenty of privacy. Caroline was a wonderful host and quick to communicate with us throughout our stay! HIGHLY recommend!!! We would love to stay again when we are in the Asheville area!

What a beautiful property to stay at with our camper. It’s private and secluded but close enough to get to Asheville easily. And the town of Burnsville is so cute with amazing shops and restaurants. Caroline was very accommodating and knowledgeable. The porta potty was very clean. The property was quiet and the directions to the site were perfect. We will absolutely be back. Thanks for a wonderful trip!

We really enjoyed this little spot tucked away in the trees on the side of a slope. The leaves were just beginning to change and float down in the gentle breeze.
Amenities made this stay several degrees easier and more enjoyable; electricity, water, dry firewood, picnic table, port-a-potty, level parking and fire pit areas.
We booked instantly twice and had no issues at all.
Things to know:
Easy access, also easy-to-miss. The neighbors are used to giving directions.
Structures around with lights and generator (minor light and sound pollution), but no one was there but us.
We saw at least one surveillance camera.

Amazing location, easy to get to, and the directions provided made it super easy to get to our spot. As other people have said you have a lot of options for camping from using a tent, hammock, or van. The grill is a game-changer (especially if it's raining or damp out) along with the electricity, easy access to water, and surprisingly clean port-a-potty.
If you need anything you're only a 16-minute drive to a super nice Ingles too in case you forgot anything food-wise or want charcoal for the grill.
The only con is that if someone is staying in the Air B&B RV they can be a little close for comfort. We luckily didn't have anyone else there though so it was a non-problem.

We loved our holiday weekend at Well-Travelled. The site is close to an AirBnB RV listing, however we lucked out and no one was staying there while we tent camped in the HipCamp site. We didn’t see another soul and it was everything we needed. We did stop for a pizza and beer at the brewery in Burnsville and highly recommend that as well! This place was so great it has us rethinking where we may buy land in NC for a weekend homestead getaway!

This is a little slice of Western NC heaven. Tucked away off a country road in the woods. The site accommodates a variety of different camping options. I chose to hang up my hammock and enjoy the light coming through the trees. Lovely little fire ring and picnic table. Power for campers. Water hookups. And WIFI! I loved staying here. I also loved the little goats in the gated area nearby. And the brand new grill. Road is a little rough getting in in spots. 2WD cars can absolutely make it in, but just take it slow. An overall outstanding spot that I'd definitely come back to!
