Thom was a wonderful host he was super attentive and kind with the best stories to boot! Such a great location minutes from the blue ridge parkway. The internet was a major plus as was the power pole. Everything went smoothly and I will absolutely be back!

The setting is very peaceful on the creek and we barely noticed the seldom cars from the road. The host is very nice and eager to help. We did need Anderson blocks to level our 40' 5th wheel but we're used to that and the space was long enough for both our 5th wheel and truck - we couldn't exactly tell from the photos. I think what would make it perfect is a picnic table and a solution for trash. We couldn't find anywhere to take our trash and did see a bear one morning so leaving trash outside is for sure not safe. Thank you Thom for a peaceful few days!

Had a great time at Reems Creek Retreat. The listing accurately reflects the location and experience. The running creek beside to campsite was great to listen to and soothing to hear at night. The provided wifi was excellent. The site is a gravel area but isn't flat so make you have plenty of stabilizing blocks. The campsite is only about 12 min from Weaverville which has everything you need. Wagbar is a definite must if you have a dog. Highly recommend Blue Mountain Pizza. Food was fantastic. Thom and his wife are fantastic hosts. Came over to introduce themselves and responded very quickly to messages. Will definitely come back.

Amazing site! Loved hearing the water by our campsite. Thom was so helpful and available when we needed assistance. Site is on the road but had both our dogs off leash the whole stay and were fine.

Highly recommend! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we had time to stay longer. The site accommodates larger rigs (our is 45ft) and you have your own private creek oasis. The only downside was that we didn’t have cell service, but the WiFi provided worked great!

This was our 2nd time staying here and we had a great time again. The weather was perfect and the creek was running for the kids to play in. Strong WiFi, which is a plus as there is no cell signal here. Thom is a great host and he always goes to extra mile to ensure you have everything you need. We will be back!

Beautiful Creekside spot. Thom is an excellent host. Strong WiFi and stable power. Very long spot. Near the road but not a lot of traffic as it’s a dead end. Looking forward to going back!

Beautiful spot! I set up my camper for a work retreat and could not have asked for a more inspirational setting. Parked directly on the side of Reem’s Creek! Relaxing sound of the river all day and night! Thom is a fantastic host and goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Internet is essential for me to stream meetings and share large files, and the wireless at the campsite did not disappoint! I will definitely be camping here again.

The site was beautiful next to the creek. Nice place for a weekend get away. Reasonably close to Weaverville for necessities. Recommended to guests with RV's the power connection is 50 amp, and be sure to have reducers and extra power cable. Use caution if walking off site due to poison ivy and nettles. Tight turn to enter site with RV if coming from the South, to have RV facing the creek. Signage could be more prominent. Host was very nice and came the first day to introduce himself and let us know he was available. We enjoyed our time there, just a few tips to make your stay more enjoyable.

We loved this spot!!! The creek was so beautiful and our 2 dogs loved running in and out of the water during our whole stay. Thom was so helpful and accommodating and made us feel very welcome. It was a beautiful place to hunker down in the mountains. Would recommend to anyone!

This was our favorite Hipcamp so far in our two week east coast road trip! We love the location! A really beautiful, quiet area and that feels super safe but so still only about 20 mins from the hustle of bustle of Asheville. The best of both worlds! The wifi and power hook ups were such an added bonus!

What a beautiful site! We parked our 30' travel trailer for 6 days at Thom's fantastic campsite and what a pleasure. The stream was babbling when we arrived but after some heavy rain it was yelling, and what a great sound it made. Leveling did require most of our leveling blocks, but very doable. We needed to raise the front 8" and driver's side 4". The whole area is covered with rock (crushed?) so the rain wasn't an issue. Blackberry Inn road is right there but not highly traveled and with the camper behind us while sitting at the fire, we really didn't notice it along with the sound of the stream. Thom is super pleasant to talk to although we only saw him a couple times and he did not stay long. We would have enjoyed talking more but could tell he is very sensitive of intruding on his guests' space, which is also nice. No question we will be back if we are in the area again in the future. Big thumbs up!

This camping spot was very private and nicely equipped with a fire pit and wood. The creek provided a lovely backdrop. Try to get there before dark so you can read the road signs!

We had a lot of fun at Thom’s campsite. First off, Thom is a super nice guy and came out when I arrived.
Plenty of parking if you need it. Right on Reem’s Creek, which gives a great atmosphere. The road is close by, but not much traffic at all. We left our dog off leash most of the time we were there, but if you have a dog that wanders I’d be mindful of where they are. Wifi was awesome and there was a very strong signal so we could stream football games. Firepit was in the immediate area and was great. We brought our own firewood, but there is a supply of firewood you can use that is there for an additional charge. We saw a mama and baby deer standing in the creek and the kids loved it (so did we!).
Recommendations: If you are in a 30 amp camper you will need an adapter to plug your camper to the 50 amp plug. They are cheap and good to have anyway. Our power cable was around 25 feet long and ideally I would have liked to have an additional 10-15 feet of cable to park the camper exactly how I’d like, but I was able to park in a great spot as there is a ton of room. The weather was amazing, it was quiet, definitely a great place to relax.
We will definitely camp here again. A+
