Friendly folks. It’s a place to ditch in a pinch. But it’s kind of a bombed out, pit-filled quazi salvage yard vibe.

Jessica was very helpful assisted me in backing in my camper. We never saw each other cause we didn’t bother each other until the last day and everything was just fine and we parted ways as friends I would recommend going back.

This is a bare lot full of garbage, overgrown grass, and decaying shipping containers. Not to mention the neighbor harassing the campers by playing loud music all day and night (except when he is sleeping), and revving his motorcycle early in the morning waking everyone up.
In our case, it rained, and the lot flooded with water to my ankles.
Other than being a somewhat convenient location, there is nothing good about the place.
To the owners, please, clean up and mow the lot regularly, clearly mark where each RV should go, and where the sewer hook-up and tank are so people don drive over it, and install one electric pedestal by each site. When someone asks, please, be truthful regarding the size of the lot and entrance. I asked if my 38ft 5th wheel would fit, and the answer should be no. There is no height or side clearance because the trees are not trimmed, and there is no space inside to maneuver if someone is already camping there. Put rocks, gravel, crushed concrete, or anything similar to stabilize the soil. Heavy campers like mine, or the class A that was already in there, will dig the soil and cause a lot of damage if not adequately prepared. Because this is close to the city and only a minimal number of people should access it, a gate with a lock would have been great...
For large campers, access must be improved by trimming the trees. Large rigs should only be allowed to back into the lot and park in the back, this is a very difficult maneuver.

Wanted to like this site, but need to give an honest review for future campers.
Space: The space is not really adequate for large campers or for 3-4 sites as advertised. We had two small (<15 ft) campers and had difficulty pulling in and connecting to power. There is one pole with 5 outlets. A long-term RV guest there had to move two cars so we could connect. We had to park in the dirt drive as the area next to the drive was a mud hole. The other camper in our group parked in tall grass by two old storage containers. The description says 5th-wheels allowed, but I truly do not see how that would be possible.
Upkeep: The property appears to be going under some work to prepare for more campers, but it was unkept. The grass was up to our calves and had not been cut for 3-4 weeks. The property has two old storage containers (one had a mattress inside with plastic draped in front of the opening. There was a large stack of old wooden fencing. There was on old dilapidated camper on the property too. Just overall it felt unwelcoming.
Music: The property beside the camp area played loud Christian music from dawn to dusk. It was noticeable no matter where you were on the property.
Perhaps if the host cleans up the property and properly maintains things this could be a good spot. Clearly defined sites with adequate paths to drive/park are needed. It has a good location explore Wilmington, but I feel like they started allowing campers before they were ready to be a host.

The site was very convenient to stay overnight, charge the batteries, and power the the A/C in our RV before a day at the beach. It's a good site if you need power and an affordable place to crash in your RV for the night, that's close to the beach. It's close to restaurants for a breakfast before you hit the beach.

Jessica was great with communication. We were a bit confused at first as to where to park. Jessica was available to us immediatley so we were able to get in the correct spot. Piners Paradise is a great location for all things Wilmington. Easy access to everything. It is obvious Jessica is working with guests in mind and has created a great location.

Very tight fit with two other rv's and their vehicles. Jeffery cleared space to enable me to prevent jackknifing. With continued improvements being done with possibility of turn around area coupled with friendly service that was provided I would return.

I enjoyed my stay on Jessica’s land, great location 20 mins from Wrightsville beach and 17 mins to downtown Wilmington. Plenty of things around to explore to keep you occupied while you stay here. This was my first time in Wilmington and I would definitely come back and stay here again.
