This was such a wonderful stay, even through a surprise winter storm! The host was incredibly kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe and comfortable the whole timeâchecking in during the bad weather, offering extra help, and just being a genuinely caring hosts. It really made all the difference.
I loved spending time on the swings, gently swaying while taking in the peaceful surroundings. The deck was the perfect spot to relax, sip hot coffee and have a smoke and also just soak up the incredible views of the skyâthose crisp winter sunrises and starry nights (when the clouds cleared) were absolutely magical. The amazing fire pit became our cozy evening hangout spot a-swell as a fantastic steak cooker(aslong as you have a grill). The wooded chairs were super comfortable for chilling and eating on, and the cool ambient lights that softly lit up the dark added such a magical, serene glow to the whole campsite, especially on those chilly nights. Everything felt so thoughtfully set up and special.
This spot is a true gemâpeaceful, beautiful, and hosted with real heart. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to disconnect, recharge, and feel truly taken care of in nature. Thank you so much for the amazing experience! đâď¸

It was a lovely and easy stay! Directions and signage to getting to the site were clear. The string lights were very helpful for camp lighting. Firepit was ready to use when I got there! The upper deck was clean and a very nice feature.

This spot was great! Set up two hammocks on the lower level, it was perfect. Nice area and the plug in lights there were very useful! Will definitely be stopping here again my next trip!

Everything was exactly as described. We arrived when it was dark but it was still easy to find. The lights around the deck made it feel super welcoming. We didnât see or hear anyone around. Would definitely stay again!

Overall a cool site, neat setup and easy to find but had I known about the active home construction next door, we wouldn't have booked it. They were using equipment when we arrived so we had to leave and come back closer to 6 because it was bothering our dogs. As someone else said, it's not super private and I didn't necessarily mind that or the road noise or dogs barking at 2am but the construction was a deal breaker so I cancelled our second night. I understand this is out of the hosts control but a little warning would have been nice.

Owner was extremely responsive. Was able to book and confirm within 10 minutes and I was super grateful because I was scrambling to find a spot.
The overhead deck is so cool!! Could easily fit a few tents up there. Loved the views and string lights everywhere.

The elevated deck was awesome! Big enough for multiple tents. Just be mindful that's there isn't any way to stake your tent out of you don't have a freestanding tent. You may have to get creative with that. If you are looking for a place that is extremely secluded, this might not be it. There were neighbors nearby through the woods. That said it is very private and we had no concerns about privacy. It was easy to find, the directions are good, and parking was easy and convenient. We would definitely use Lindsey's site again if we return.

Lindsey is an excellent host, very helpful and kind! She even turned the lights on for me because I was arriving late. I enjoyed my stay as a female solo camper. This site is private but not secluded. There are houses nearby. If you want to try solo camping but you're nervous, this is a great place to start. You have people within shouting distance which can be comforting. You can hear cars on the road in the distance, neighbors doing yard work, or dogs baking... but that's to be expected. Sound carries in rural areas. However, it wasn't bad. If you're busy doing your own thing or chatting with friends, it's not that noticeable. This is also a great site for friends. You can easily setup multiple tents on the deck. The graveled area below the deck isn't level so I pitched my tent on the top. The area to the side of the deck is fairly level. The top of the deck has shade. Bring something to clear leaves. I usually bring a rake when camping but I forgot it this trip. That's on me. The top of the deck doesn't have lights so bring your own. A few yards from the deck, there is a water spigot and electrical outlet. Bring a long outdoor extension cord if you plan to use electricity on the deck. There is also a nice fire pit area. There is a river within a 5 minutes drive, and Asheville is only about 20 min away. I would camp here again!
