My husband purchased this land to build his house on before we got together. After he purchased the land, he spent the next year building the perfect house on top of the hill at the end of our long driveway. We have a beautiful view from our front porch. My favorite place to have coffee! Frequent visitors to the property include turkey, deer, and even bear once in a while that visit. We have discovered from my Grandmother that this same property happens to be the same property that my Great, Great Grandparents used to farm and cut firewood on. So it holds some neat family history for me. We hope you enjoy staying with us! Learn more about this land: Let the stress from the week go! Come camp with us!  Everyone that comes out always says, "Wow, what a great view!" Plenty of woods and fields to wander through. Days are filled with wildlife. Turkey and deer that hang out in the lawn to the peepers and yes even the coyotes at night! We also have a handful of Eagles that can be seen pretty often too! We offer wooded and open area hiking trails around the property. A fire ring and picnic table or table are provided at your site and a porta-potty available for our campers to use. The property is located in the quiet hills in New York's Finger Lakes Region. Just 20 minutes from Keuka Lake and 25 to all the shopping and dining experiences that you could ever want in downtown Corning along with hundreds of NYS breweries and wineries to enjoy during the day. Return to the hill for a quiet campfire in the evening. Their are several nearby rivers and lakes to canoe or kayak, hiking trails all over the region and even in our own backyard! We hope to see you soon!   Sites #1, #2 & #3 can easily accommodate any type of camper (tent, trailer, van, RV, motor home, etc.)  These sites could be booked for more than just 2 campers. Please contact me if you have a larger group.  Site #4 offers the best view! However it is close to our house so if you want more privacy we recommend staying at one of the other sites.  But their is plenty of room here for a larger group.  Site #5 is secluded by itself on the far side of the field on the right hand side of our driveway. The best way to get to it is to take the road to the end of the field. You will find an vehicle accessible path next to the tree line.    Site #6 is the first spot you will find off the driveway it is before the play area and tucked in the trees #6 offers more shade but would be better for a tent. New this year! Windy Ridge Cabin. The cabin can sleep up to 6. Spacious and clean. The cabin sits on the edge of the woods and overlooks the valley to the left.

Probably our most popular site. Site 1 has a great view. It's just off the driveway and close to the porta potty. Easy access for RV and tent campers alike. Separated from other sites by a large mound of dirt that is covered in raspberry bushes. Which gives site 1 a little extra privacy.

Site #5 is one of our more popular spots. It is secluded by itself on the far side of the field on the right hand side of our driveway. The best way to get to it is to take the road to the end of the field. You will find an vehicle accessible path next to the tree line.  It is next to the woods where you can hike and wander. It is however, a little bit of a walk to the porta potty from site 5.

Site #4 offers the best views on the property! However it is close to our house so if you want more privacy we recommend staying at one of the other sites.  However, even though it is close you are still far enough away to enjoy your own space. Plenty of room here for a larger group of campers. Nice large fire pit and picnic table.

Site two is just off the driveway on the left. Close to the porta potty. Nice open field area with lots of room to camp, park and spread out and watch the stars! Good spot for those coming in with an RV or tent.

Sites #3 can easily accommodate any type of camper (tent, trailer, van, RV, motor home, etc.)  Sites 2 and 3 are close in the field, but their is lots of room so feel free to spread out from the other site. Had a great time here. It was a beautiful space. We had a very large youth group that was easily accommodated by the hosts. The hosts and their family were friendly and considerate. I would definitely return here.

Loved my stay here, it was a one night stop but Jennifer was very quick to answer, the space is beautiful at night under the stars, and even better when you wake up to a great sunrise. Would absolutely book again.

Beautiful scenery. With the wind, the markers were down, but I found my spot and settled in quickly. There is a small fire pit and a picnic table at each spot. I appreciated the raspberry bushes giving me privacy in spot one. Host came down and made sure I was all set, and I got to meet their pup, who came back down later to sniff around my hotdogs. I didn't give her one, since I couldn't ask the host. Those puppy dog eyes were disappointed lol. More than enough space to spread out, enjoy the scenery and quiet. I loved looking up in my tent and seeing the stars. No bathrooms, the Porta potty comes in May. Back country dirt rds to get there, so if you're not used to that, keep that in mind. It's amazing what you can find just outside your backyard. I will def come back, when I just need a nearby escape.

Our first time winter camping ever! We will definitely be back. Beautiful area with close wineries near by. The land had lots of space for our 5 dogs to run around off leash. Jennifer and her husband were very quick to respond to any questions.

Not as described. The cabin itself was great, the views not so much. NOT SECLUDED. My views were an airstream and truck to my left; a dumpster, 2 semi trailers with stuff spilling out, owners house and cars to my right. The generator for the Airstream ran for hours. There is a road the runs right in front of the cabin between you and the fire, in less than 2hrs, 8 cars drove by. The cabin is clean and well built, the $30 cleaning fee is ridiculous. This is definitely not worth the $100+ bucks.

Very enjoyable stay. Quiet nights and the sunrises were spectacular. Had a visit from a small fox one morning and saw deer near by. Highly recommend. Owners were friendly and attentive.

This is one of our favorite places to camp. It is so peaceful, the trees were beautiful in the fall, the sunrise and sunsets were spectacular and the star gazing incredible. Jennifer was a great host, easy to contact and made sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend this place to anyone........but maybe not, because I want to keep it for myself! Thanks again Jennifer for sharing this special place!

This was an amazing stay! The drive in and out were breathtaking and the tent spots were really nice grass, my dogs loved romping in. Really clean portajohn and it was so quiet at night (best night of sleep I've had in a long time!) If I had more time I would have loved to explore the trails on the property.

We really enjoyed our time here! The cabin is so cozy with a beautiful view and the heater provided did well at heating the space! Jennifer is a fantastic host; very helpful, welcoming and kind. Our party included a dog and children and everyone was comfortable and had a great time!

The view was worth it! Went up with my girlfriend for her first time camping and stayed at Site 4. We were able to pull up right to our site which was nice because we used my truck tent. A picnic table, chairs and fire pit was provided, only issue with the fire pit was it was a little high off the ground so it was a little hard to warm the lower half of your body up (only really matters if your staying in the colder times on the year). But other than that it was perfect……..waking up to a Valley view, the host stopped by and was very friendly. Would definitely book it again!

Absolutely gorgeous views, as promised! We stayed just one night while roadtripping back from our honeymoon, and although it was pretty chilly (late September, and on the hillside it's pretty breezy!), the view and wonderful fresh air made it so worth it!

I absolutely loved how well the site map/layout was described during booking - it made finding my campsite extremely easy. I arrived very late in the evening, after sunset, as my travels took me a little bit longer than expected - but I had zero problem finding my site & setting up, thanks to the amazing map & directions provided. The property was beautiful - stunning views of the stars - luckily I stayed during the perseids meteor shower & was able to see a meteor shoot across the sky!! In the morning, I enjoyed a peaceful PT/yoga practice overlooking the beautiful landscape as the sun rose above the mountains. I really appreciated the privacy & felt very safe (as a solo female traveler, this means the world to me). Thanks again!

My friends and I had an amazing time at wandering acres! Jen and her husband made sure we had everything we needed including firewood, chairs and a table. They were extremely helpful and welcoming, truly the best hosts! Would definitely take a trip back there once again.

This was an incredible site. The stars in the sky were absolutely gorgeous. Fire pit, benches, table and chairs were perfect and with our single tent, we had a nice flat spot and slept like babies.

A beautiful property with so much to explore. my husband, my brother, my fur nephew and i stayed on site #4 and we all had such a grea time.. Its close to jennifers home, but you really forget its there . The view every morning was worth it ! The Bathroom was well maintained , the grounds were nice and clear. The cabin they are building looks wonderful, i cant wait to go back!
