One of the nicest places we have stayed since we started hip-camping! Jess, the owner, was amazing... so kind, welcoming, generous, and more! Fresh eggs, honey, vegetables ever day. Sarah, Jesse, George, Robert made us feel so welcome. Free to roam the beautiful property, wine in the Adirondack chairs by barn... the wine a gift from Jess! When i saw the 100's of tomatoes i wished for some mayonnaise and it magically appeared, compliments of Jess. Free access to do my tai chi in their gorgeous yoga studio everyday! Classes available everyday! I could go on but don't want to ruin it for you. Come see for yourself!! We are already planning a return trip! Oh yeah, about the many nearby sites to visit! My only issue... we didn't stay long enough!!

A welcoming and beautifully landscaped CSA farm with much abundance to share! There is a lovely wild zone nearby with forest and river that you can explore. The hosts were very accommodating to my needs and even offered me some vegetables from their farm. You can take yoga or meditation classes in the studio if you desire. Wifi is available to campers. Close to hiking and exploring the Adirondack park. Highly recommend this lovely spot for a relaxing camp!

After looking for a last minute July 4th spot, we settled on this property and we’re not disappointed! Surprisingly we were the only ones camping that weekend so we were able to have our pick of private spots on the farm. Let me just say, the photos do NOT do this place justice! The farm was scenic and quaint; the perfect place to relax in nature and enjoy the simple things in life like taking a dip in the swimming hole, walking around the woodland trails or playing with the adorable dog Bella. Hosts were friendly and extremely accommodating of our unexpectedly late arrival. Highly recommend for couples or families. Very close to tourist attractions in both NY and Vermont as well as breweries, wineries and hiking trails.

Eclectic Riverfront Yoga Farm
Beautiful little farm. Quiet and peaceful. Francisco did a great job of showing us around and making us feel welcome. We stayed at the site closest to the farm, not a lot of afternoon shade there but head down to the river or relax around the beautiful yoga barn and you’ll be fine! Smallish fire pit but it worked well enough for keeping us warm and cooking food. Overall a really pleasant experience.

If you are looking for a nice, private getaway, this is the place for you.
Karen’s farm has everything you need to have a perfect camping experience: multiple private locations to relax at (solarium, yoga studio, sauna, private beach); farm animals (pigs, cows, chickens); fresh veggies, fruit, eggs, and meat available to buy/cook; nice hiking trails; and so much more.
The campsite is not glamorous, but it doesn’t have to be. The beauty of camping on a breathing working farm makes it all worth it.
Whenever we needed anything/had any questions, Karen was available to help (whether this was directions, fire wood, trash bags, you name it!)
Thank you Karen for being such an amazing host to us this weekend! We hope to come back and hope others do too!!

We loved our stay! Highly recommend to stay more than one night since this farm is so pleasant and hip. We camped for two nights near the field and two at the river. Both spots are beautiful. Our two year old loved all the animals as well as the toys in the barn. Many thanks to our host Fransisco for being so accommodating.

What a beautiful property! There is so much to explore from the apple orchard, to the river dives, to the ability to hang out with some cute cows & pigs. Francisco is an amazing host & had a little bit of produce to offer us, even though it’s not quite the season for harvesting. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here & hope to be back when the wellness center is open for yoga and reiki!

Eclectic Riverfront Yoga Farm
Awesome fall weekend camping with our small teardrop trailer at Shady Grove Farm in the private treed corner by the pond. Enjoyed terrific steaks, bacon and produce from the farm. Francisco was so informative and helpful - directing us to a local hike that was perfect for our skill level and close to the farm and away from all the Columbus Day congestion happening over in the High Peaks area. Thanks Karen and Francisco for sharing your beautiful property.

This is a haven in heaven.
Surrounded by lush trees and yet accessible to everything including microbreweries serving delicious angus beef burgers and brews this place welcomes you with cute cows, pigs and hens scattered across a wonderful farm. The wooden ambiance of the structures adds to the natural beauty. Francisco communicates well and was a wonderful host!! Gave us some amazing firewood and made sure it stays dry by covering it with his own raincoat while we were away. Explore the farm!! the collections around are beautiful. If we had a chance we would have stayed for a week. The bathroom is clean and spotless and very convenient to use too.

Eclectic Riverfront Yoga Farm
We had a great Labor Day weekend at Shady Grove. We (adults, kids, dog) spent our days enjoying the quiet of the farm, trekking the various trails, visiting the animals, enjoying the swimming hole and finally being reminded of how many stars are in the sky at night.
Francisco filled out many orders for meat and eggs from the farm and wood for the fires. He was a great host. Our group would enthusiastically recommend Shady Grove!

It was exactly what I wanted to have for my camping weekend. Farm animals: chickens, pigs, 4 bulls and my dogs running free. They behaved well so it was ok for them to be loose. Francisco and Karen were great hosts :) You can purchase veggies, fruits and meats that they produce, very nice treat on the spot. Amazing yoga experience on Saturday morning with Noelle at the loft beats everything by a million! Note - Our camper van (extended, high roof Ford Transit) didn't fit to be parked at the creek, but it was still nice.

We loved our stay here. Francisco offered us fire wood and a preference for sites. Ours was right next to the river, which was perfect after a long day of mountain climbing. We will absolutely be back.

What a beautiful place to camp and relax ! The farm as well as the host were lovely, the pigs were my favourite and the private swimming spot in the river was so special. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Shady Grove was incredibly beautiful!! It felt peaceful and quiet. Our host was available and helpful although we were able to have our privacy. Having a private swimming area was really special too! I loved having the animals around, the pigs were so funny! Highly recommend booking at this farm :)

Eclectic Riverfront Yoga Farm
Stayed here with a group of friends (5 people) and this place was incredible! Our site was in such a great location over looking the fields and next to the trees, so we were blocked from the morning sun. The fire pit was great for cooking and the produce is fantastic! You should definitely buy some when you are here. We had such a great time that after we left, we kept making up reasons to come back and stay here again.

This place is absolutely beautiful. Wonderful privacy, the river is a fantastic swim only a short walk away, the food we purchased on site was all amazing, fresh veggies, chorizo sausages, grass fed beef, all delectable. Unbelievable view of the stars at night. Host was fantastic and accommodating. Great water readily available, animals were all very friendly, porta-john was clean and in the shade.

It is a really wonderful place. Francisco was super accommodating and helpful in all aspects. We arrived earlier than expected but he helped us settle in. Did everything to make us feel at home.
The out house was clean, the swimming hole fun, local fishing a blast, the farm animals were an added bonus. Would definitely stay again!

We’ll kept site on beautiful farm. Very private site, Francisco was a great host. The river was a short walk from the site, bring your bug spray down by the river though.

Staying at Shady Grove was wonderful! The site was a nice distance away from the "happenings" at the barn. There were a bunch of walking paths that led you to interesting finds (pond, river, cow pasture, etc.) The hospitality was wonderful and the location was perfect! This is just the place for a quiet getaway that'll keep you close to plenty to do! Francisco brought wood for our fire pit not only once, but twice, came to check on us, and even offered up some bacon!

Shady Grove is a beautiful farm with an amazing host. Because it was raining all day and all night, our host allowed us to sleep upstairs in the yoga studio and we were SO THANKFUL! Would recommend and would go back again. Especially to see the chickens and the piggies. Thank you!

We had a very fun stay at Shady Grove farm, especially our interaction with the animals, which was so fun for my young daughter. Those pigs love their mud!
We had all we needed within easy reach (water, bathroom, etc.) but also had a quiet, peaceful night under the stars. Our hosts were welcoming and informative, and we even bought some of their delicious vegetables and honey on our way out!
