Great little spot near the lake. Exactly as described. Good communication from host. Would recommend if you’re looking for a simple quiet stop over with hook ups and more room and flexibility than your average campsite - close to an area of natural beauty. Would recommend! Riverside Campsite
This campsite was great! during the busy time of year, I can see it being nice because its slightly down the street from the main little wolf campground. So you are a bit removed from the main area but still within walking distance to all of its amenities! I was there when the main camp was closed so the beach was very nice and quiet! The fire pit was also a very nice touch!

We arrived late and left early so didn't get to enjoy everything the site offered, but were pleased with our spot and would happily come back another time to explore more. We appreciated the privacy of our spot and the fact that there were hookups if we wanted them. The place is a bit hard to find at night (Google Maps and Apple Maps take you to different places), so recommend arriving while you still have some light.

We really appreciated finding such a nice site, with full hookups, in late October, when most all the regular campgrounds have closed for the season. We end up staying extra days, 4 days total, because of rain. Cozy spot. Still close to town for restaurants, laundry, groceries. Loved getting in a bike ride on the newly opened Adirondack Rail Trail, accessed just down the street.
Only negative, with the rain, the site called Forest View 1 got quite muddy. Too many campers have laid out big rugs, killing a large section of the grass. Otherwise, the sites are all grass.

The pup & I had a wonderful weekend away on Cara’s land, it was just what we needed. Found it very peaceful & relaxing. There were two other campers setup but we were on the upper lot and had our own space.
All of the local trailheads were packed up so we just had a nice little walking adventure around Little Wolf Pond and it was so nice.
Site had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend away - power, water & sewer hookups as well as a fire pit, picnic table and Adirondack chair.
Definitely recommend to anyone especially this time of year, the colors around the pond were great! Thanks again!!!

This is a great location, clean, close to town, great fire pit, electric and water. I was concerned about the negative reviews at first but we did not have to park immediately next to our neighbors. definitely if privacy is your thing, this might not be the best place but it is much more spacious and private than the campground down the road. We would definitely stay here again

Great spot close to a lot of things to do. There were 2 other campers on the property and everyone was nice and respectful. Plenty of space for us to spread out even though you share utilities on the same pole at the River View site 1. Host was responsive to text and questions. We would absolutely stay here again.

This is quiet and nice if you need a full hook up with a clear view of the sky for Starlink, which is rare around here
However, there is agiant public free parking lot right on the lake with an amazing view less than 3 miles away that allows overnight camping
So if you don’t need hook ups, that’s a no-brainer

This is a nice quiet spot very near the beach & beach campground. The full hookup was great & a stone fireplace near the little brook. We had plenty of space and Cara was very responsive when I messaged her. She recommended places to eat and find wood. Also it was FLAT which we always appreciate.

Nice site with water & power. Note that hookup is 50 amp - not 30 amp. We got great wifi with our Starlink Mini (no satelite obstructions). The only slight confusion involves Cara’s directions to the bathroom/toilet. She did not make it clear that they are located INSIDE the “Little Wolf Beach” campground. No problem but quite a hike from the campsite.

This site was perfect for a week in the ADK. It was surprisingly more private than we had expected. We shared utilities with the site next to us but we faced opposite ways so we never interacted. Compared to a traditional RV park, this was great. We would gladly stay here again.

The property is great overall but the riverside site utilities are in such a spot that a larger fifth wheel doesn’t fit very well and it’s not very level. There is a great level spot on that site but you need several hoses and cords and sewer pipe to be able to reach the utilities.

Riverside Campsite
The price of the site is very affordable but I felt a little misled by the description. The 4 acres is irrelevant because two campers are directly on top of each other and the other is just a short distance away.
The riverside site was on the road, which was very loud and heavily traveled. Our neighboring camper was directly next to ours so it didn’t feel private at all. The site across from us, although slightly farther, had a very loud family. The kids were screaming until late at night and at times the father was screaming as well. The fire pit was on the “river” which was more like a stream way down into the greenery and the mosquitos were absolutely horrible. We ended up buying our own fire pit because the mosquitos were just impossible to tolerate by the water.
The site was in closer proximity to attractions so that was the redeeming factor. The site was also larger than typical campgrounds but we couldn’t use much of it due to being right by the road and full of ant hills everywhere. I didn’t think it was terrible but would recommend being more transparent about the kind of space you’ll have compared to the 4 acres.

Nice quiet 3 lot site , beach 5 min walk from there. No wifi ,we used our mobile hot spot and were able to watch TV on our laptop.

Hi we stayed at the campsite for two nights liked the view .We went fishing and loved that it was right next to the beach . Beautiful view to see in the morning very peaceful 🌻😍. definitely staying again.

Great spot with full hook-ups, however they only have 110 of 50 amp plugs. There is a lot to do in the area, and this camp site is walking distance from a lake with a cool beach area.

The only positive thing I’d say for this site is the proximity to the brewery which was a fun spot for beer and dinner. Otherwise for $50 it offered a sandy place to park next to 4 rvs and no bathrooms. There is a 110 and 220 outlet that we didn’t use but could be helpful to another camper. There is also a fire pit. Just 20 minutes away is the Wilmington Notch campground for $22/ night with spots under trees, fire pit, grass and hot showers too. Pretty quiet as well.

The site was great, a bit separated from the other two sites. Easy access, easy to find, firewood, lots of space, great trails since you're in the Adirondaks, nice town, perfect weekend.
