Excellent hosts. We didn’t meet Dayna, but her partner Mike was there and was very nice and helpful. We showed up later than expected and he gave us a tour by flashlight before we called it a night. The property is gorgeous and quiet except for the occasional car that drives by late at night. Perfect for us since we were just looking for a spot to set up a tent for the night to check out all the local state parks in the finger lakes.

Dayna was responsive and available when we arrived! She texted throughout the process. I was last minute in booking but I knew I didn't want to camp on grounds full of people. Her yard was spacious and mostly private. Great firepit on the grounds! We bought eggs and firewood from the host. I am used to "roughing it" so no showers didn't bother me, but the composting toilet was something I can not say added to our experience. The proximity to the Taughannok Falls and Robert Tremen State Park are a very big plus for booking here! There is some road noise but I would trade that for people noise any day!

Dayna was very nice and her land is gorgeous!!! She has firewood bundles you can purchase and a wonderful fire pit. There are chickens and a cat that roam the property in harmony and were a delight to watch! This place is great for low maintenance campers. There is a pump for well water and a tent toilet (of which I was to scared to use so I went to local coffee shops in the mornings). Overall a great experience!

Nice large open area with a fire pit/chairs and a set of large trees for lots of shade. Owners were kind, offered assistance when needed and otherwise kept to themselves. Was a good experience.

Dayna was a wonderful host; she gave me plenty of privacy but was always available when I had questions. She had great recommendations for restaurants, music venues, and local hikes to check out. Her land is a little slice of paradise! It's clear how much time and love she invests into her gardens, they are truly stunning. I only wish I could have stayed longer, it was a much-needed respite on a beautiful property.

A super beautiful property. Loved the animals. A peaceful place to camp. The cat was super sweet and cuddly which I loved as I am missing mine back home. The host was helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend.

It was a lovely space and hosted by great people. The oak trees provided us with adequate shade so we could sleep in and the pool was awesome. Highly recommend!

Sarah’s camp 🏕 was a great location in relation to downtown Ithaca , dog friendly was a bonus for our pups and lots of room to spread out. It sits on a little nice farm. You have to cart your tent and things to the backyard/ camp area you can’t drive up to the site. But the sites were close by ! The weather didn’t cooperate for us that weekend but there is a nice fire pit and chairs.

It was a very calm and nice getaway! The host always made sure to communicate with me. She was kind to give me an extra fleece blanket and made sure I was comfortable during the night. It was a great spot close to beautiful hiking spots.

Loved the space! It was perfect to stay the night in a quiet area and see the stars. The moon was perfectly in view the whole night, so if that doesn’t get you to want to come here then her cute chicken coop should. Highly recommend.

Dayna was very helpful and showed us around her property to help us choose a spot to set up camp. She even brought a wagon for us to carry our stuff to the site! It was a beautiful spot— very peaceful and welcoming, and so much fun to have fresh eggs from the adorable chickens :) Had a great time exploring local waterfalls and Ithaca nearby. Would highly recommend!

Dayna was a great Hipcamp host. Accommodating, friendly, but gave us a lot of privacy.
Pros: private, quiet, peaceful, beautiful, pool for sure, chickens, a wandering cat, perfect base camp to so many places in the area.
Cons: none
Things to consider:
Dayna gave us the best parking spot in the driveway but still it is a walk to the backyard to carry gear to and from. Not a long walk by any means but not “car camping”.
The bathroom is neat, clean, and usable-but nothing fancy. A pop up shelter with a composting type toilet that sits low to the ground. We used it often but the kids needed some time to adjust to it.
Overall: we would completely recommend this Hipcamp and would stay again when we come back to the area!

This was a great spot to pitch a tent: fire pit with a grill grate, pool, and close to a lot of the area’s attractions. Host was very welcoming and nice!

Very nice back yard to camp in. Fresh eggs were delicious. I wouldn't pre-buy the wood again as we didn't really need it. Hosts were very hands off, which was appropriate. Thank you.

The space was enough for privacy and collaboration. The pool is a nice benefit in the morning. Location is super convenient. Dayna was very nice. Great experience. Leif, the cat of the grounds, was a fine companion at the fire when he wasn't hunting.
