We had such a wonderful experience at this pondside campsite! The whole area is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, with stunning views that made the trip so relaxing and refreshing. The site itself was well-kept, spacious, and perfectly located right by the water, which added so much to the atmosphere. It truly felt like a hidden gem. We loved every moment here and can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a perfect nature getaway!

We couldn't have asked for a better nights stay at the farm. Rick and his family welcomed us with open arms to their amazing property, and it made for an awesome experience. The whole farm is beautiful, and the sites are separated out to make it feel like you have the whole place to yourself. Our site was stocked with firewood and any accommodation we needed was steps away. The trails cleared out on the farm were perfect to walk along, and having the paddle-boat to use on the pond was awesome. We'd absolutely recommend a stay here. We wished ours was for more than just the night.

Beautiful camp, recommend! Was here with our kids, had a wonderful time!!! Beautiful spot with good privacy, firepit, table, and (simple) glamping tent really fun pond with canoe, paddle boat, and swing kept the kids super happy great location near ithaca and beautiful surroundings convenient outhouse only possible downsides (none of these were issues for us, but worth noting) - keep in mind - shower is cold and not quite private so its ideal for hosing down after a dip and not real bathing - some road noise from nearby highway - not terrible at all, but noticeable - there are some other sites including a group site - which if fully booked might cause some noise

Wonderful time. Tiny house met all of our needs of us two parents and two teenagers. Very clean. Canoeing on the small pond was nice. Picking blueberries was wonderful. Plenty of room to yourself between tiny house and the other places they rent out. And plenty of parking. Easy to get to the main road.

Peaceful & Pup-friendly Family Trip

Our family (including our little corgi!) loved our week in the tiny house! We loved taking our furry family member on our morning walk around the pond followed by coffee on the porch. We had a great campfire evening and loved the well-designed fire circle area and benches! We were grateful for the air conditioning in the unit and overhead fan, as were visiting during a heat wave. We had dinner for 4 on the picnic bench right outside and used the grill 2 nights. We handpicked blueberries for our last breakfast. Everyone had warm showers, there were plenty of towels and all beds had clean linens and were comfortable. We watched the Pirates of the Caribbean Blu-Ray that was in the house for the rainy night in. The location was perfect for our day trips to Watkins Glen, Greek Peak Adventures, and Ithaca. I hope we will be able to return for our next finger lakes adventure - we all really loved this property and checking out the sheep in the fields!

It was perfect for us to camp at Rick's Pond site. Our son's loved that they could throw their fishing lines in the pond any time of day and the two canoes that were availlable made it lots of fun for them, too! True camping experience. While the outhouse, shower and potable water were not directly located at our site, it was an easy walk to access them. Beautiful experience and we will definitely look forward to a return to Rick's Pond site. Many thanks!

This was our second trip to the bell tent – such a magical place! The farm and pond couldn't be more idyllic and Rick and his family are tremendously kind folks. It's also ideally set near Ithaca and a 30-min drive from tons of lovely state parks. Can't wait to come back!

The Tiny House for the Big win!

We loved our experience! The property is spacious, private and quiet. We took advantage of riding in a canoe and fishing on the pond. I have to brag that I out fished my husband 4-1 during the hour we were out. The property is close to town when we didn’t feel like cooking or needed supplies. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen supplied, the AC worked like a champ and the blueberries on their Upick farm.. OMG they were fantastic. Rick is super responsive and we enjoyed talking with him. This was my first booking with Hipcamp and I’m so glad I took the chance on this place. If you are looking for a glamping experience, the Tiny House is just what you need!

Kid-Friendly Camping Paradise!

We camped at Rick’s land last weekend and had such a wonderful time with our kids! The property is beautiful and peaceful, with a lovely pond where we enjoyed using Rick’s canoes—our kids had an absolute blast. Rick went above and beyond to make our stay special, even setting up a fun water slide for the little ones! One of the highlights was gathering fresh eggs from the chickens and cooking them for breakfast—such a unique and memorable experience. And let’s not forget the incredible blueberries—delicious and plentiful! Thank you so much, Rick, for your warm hospitality and for sharing your amazing land with us. My boyfriend and I camped on Rick’s land for his 31st birthday, and it was such an amazing trip. The property is absolutely beautiful — peaceful, spacious, and the view of the pond was perfect. We loved hearing the goats and frogs at night; it really added to the experience. Rick was also super friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. We would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature!

Overall, experience was disappointing. The tent was not on a platform, as shown in the picture, so after the first night, the carpets inside the tent got damp (probably ground water seeping up through the bottom), making my luggage damp, which was sitting on top. Also, we inquired about the solar shower after the first night, but received no response, so we were unable to find it, if it exists at all. There was no charcoal grill and the firewood we purchased was not at the site, we had to bring it down ourselves. The firewood was also of varying quality, with much of it damp. The place itself is nice, but clearly the tent has been moved from the location shown in the pictures. You cannot see the pond from the tent, as it is tucked away behind some brush and set away from the shore of the pond.

It’s was nice. Stayed at pond site. Nice and quiet. Goats in the background and frogs serenaded me to sleep. Pond was peaceful and cool next to a campfire at night. I didn’t see a single person which I like. Grass was mowed and signs were easy to see and read. Also received a nice email from host before arrival making find site super easy. A little small debris around site. Took me less than 2 min to pick up. Other than that great spot. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

The Underhill farm is amazing. Rick our host is helpful but gives you your privacy. We enjoyed our time fishing, exploring, making s’mores, and connecting with nature. Clean, private, beautiful. What else could you ask for?

This place is amazing! My son literally cried when we had to leave. The cabin was cozy and perfect for the three of us, and the air conditioning was a welcome bonus. We had a great night down by the fire pit, and during the day we walked around the property and checked out the goats. I would have happily stayed another night if I didn’t have to get back to work.

Spend the weekend tent camping with a few friends. Rick was awesome, very friendly and helpful. We purchased firewood ahead of time and it was keep dry for us (it rained the entire weekend). The pond side site was surprisingly dry considering all the rain. We purchased some lamb on our second day and Rick brought it right to us and it was delicious! This is our second time here, and we will be back next year! Absolutely beautiful area and great hosts.

Great camping spot

The tent was very comfortable! They provided a fire pit and charcoal grill, we used both. Canoe rides on the beautiful pond were amazing! Rick was an awesome host and tended to our every need. Thank you Rick!
