Perfect camping spot!

We loved staying at Scott’s campsite! We stayed at site 1 next to the stream and it was so nice to hear the running water during the night. Don’t forget to check out the waterfall! It’s only a short walk from the campsites. We ended up taking the drive to Watkins Glen state park as well and it’s definitely worth checking out while you’re staying here.

Towner's was such a beautiful place to camp. We pitched our tents right next to the creek and listened to it all night. Down the trail a bit was a gorgeous waterfall and now our kids can say they swam under a waterfall :) Camp was in a very secluded location, up and over a small mountain so we had our privacy. We also had a clear view of the night sky. We were very happy with the entire experience.

Great spot off the road but very secluded (no road noise) and amazing waterfall and trails. I loved hearing the stream while I slept. Very clean. You really should bring a 4x4 due to the roads that lead to the site being steep and winding. Our Tahoe did great. 10/10 would recommend

This place was just beautiful!! I knew I should have booked us for longer... We stayed with two kids under 10 and they spent hours in the stream catching critters and exploring. You feel off the grid here but still within minutes of stores if you need something. We can't wait to come back!

Tucked away in serene solitude, this property was a dream for our camping adventure. Campsite #1 stole the show, nestled perfectly for quick creek access, ideal for relaxing by the water. The location was a fantastic base for exploring nearby lakes, with each day’s drive under an hour. A word of advice: pack bug spray to fully savor the natural surroundings. This tranquil spot left us refreshed and eager for our next visit! Scott was a great host and on top of everything. Cell service was iffy but not terrible.

Beautiful, hidden, peaceful.

This place is amazing. We had Site 1 right next to the creek, which made for peaceful sounds and fun exploration. No other campers were there, though if they were, the area is very spacious. Loved seeing and hearing wildlife-- frog, toads, barred owl, a dead snake. We ventured to the impressive waterfall but with a sore hip and relatively young kids, did not manage the handrail/ribbed ramp down to the bottom. That's ok, we admired the view from above and explored (far, far back from any edges) at the top. Our host Scott was very friendly and we are grateful that he shared this hidden gem of a place with us! Would happily return.

Nice site, the road was a bit rough but with my ride I was absolutely fine. May have been nervous in a smaller car. Site was beautiful and close to.a nice waterfall!

We loved the cozy rustic cabin with the view of the pond. My kids loved paddle boating, fishing, climbing on the log in the water and hiking to the nearby waterfall. Next time we will bring mountain bikes.

Oh boy where do I start? The land is beautiful there's always something to explore. The creek and waterfall are my kids' favorite part. If you want to connect with nature in the woods, this is the place to be. Scott is a great host and I look forward to booking his campsite 1 again in the future! Highly recommend.

This place is wonderful!!! It is very clean and the location is beautiful. My son and I stayed two nights and it was so incredibly peaceful. We also brought our mtn bikes to do some riding. I definitely want to return! If you are staying at Site 3 or 2 during warm weather, you may want to bring a pop up tent or something similar for shade. The waterfall and creek were ideal to stay cool and are so incredibly beautiful. Scott is wonderful and very hospitable. Five stars all around!

Great host. Nice private setting. The only fault are the out house facilities are sub standard. I would recommend Towners hipcamp if you bring your own potty.

Site #1 is a hidden Piece of Camping Paradise! One needs to enjoy and appreciate rustic/slightly primitive camping expériences. Sound of stream and nearby small waterfall is lovely and peaceful. Bring in your own drinking water supply. Inconsistant availablity to use water facet outside of (rental) cabin located a top hill. Clean pit toilet short walk away. Cellphone réception spotty. Period of rain days left areas of mud. Vehicles with all wheel/4 WD might be helpful PRN. Scott (Landford) reachable and very supportive. Will definitely return!

We absolutely loved camping here! The campsites were spacious and well maintained, offering plenty of room to relax. The nearby waterfalls were stunning and added a peaceful, scenic touch to our stay. The host was great l, making the experience even better. It’s very primitive setup, with outhouses conveniently located near the sites-perfect for those looking for a more rustic, back to nature experience!

We stayed here with nine middle school boys. They LOVED the pond , boats, and surrounding swings and falls nearby. We had intermittent lighting for two nights due to the constant cloudiness before our trip but found a way to make it work.

Scott was very kind and helpful upon arrival. He let us know if we needed anything we could just reach out. His property is gorgeous. It was such a relaxing, private, and beautiful place to stay. Lots of beautiful birds, butterflies, and toads. Falling asleep to the sound of the creek and waking up to the songs of birds. Didn’t have perfect weather, but didn’t bring our spirits down. Lots to explore around. So much beauty and history in the area. Will definitely be back up around and hopefully with friends. The property also has all the exploration and beauty you need if you would come for a stay and never leave it. The waterfall is a must see! We swam and waded in the creek but they also have a beautiful pond. Thank you for sharing his lovely place with others.

Despite the rain, we had a great stay at Scott's campsite. The site is clean, just as described, the setting is lovely, and the waterfall is stunning. Scott is welcoming, responsive, and super easy to work with. You do need a four-wheel drive or an AWD. We would be back.

Ideal Campsite Near Lake Seneca

Scott’s campground was absolutely beautiful and well kept. The space was large, and the stream and waterfall were so nice to have right next to our site. Scott and his son were very accommodating, delivering us more wood on the morning of our second day. The out house was super clean. Didn’t get a chance to check out the pond but it looked like it would be a great hang. They mentioned before we came that 4 wheel drive is highly recommended to get to the site. That’s because of a steep switchback road to get to the sites. It was raining when we got there and not everyone had 4x4. We all made it. Though I do agree 4x4 makes things a lot easier especially with rain involved. 10/10 would go back again and probably will.

Scott our host was wonderful. If using the tent sites an SUV or truck is definitely preferable to getting to site. Much more than I expected. Sites are large and beautiful and I really hope Scott keeps the sites to a minimum so as to keep it that way. We stayed at tent site #1 and it was incredible. Couldn’t have asked for more on our 3 night stay. Peaceful and amazing. Thanks for having us. Will definitely be back.

Staying here never disappoints!! We met a very nice Amish family at the waterfall that took us for a ride on their buggy with their pony Shotgun Eddie! The husbands & nephews rated the fishing a 10/10! We will definitely be going back! It’s very quiet and very peaceful. Even with other campers at other sites. 3 is personally our favorite. Any other campers we have crossed paths with have been very polite and friendly.
