Nice spot under big pine trees. Host was very responsive and everything went well. Private spot behind the house. I was pleasantly surprised to find it equipped with a picnic table, candles, lighters and water. Close to highway and lots of places for food.

I enjoy the solitude and that I felt safe. I even would go alone if I didn’t find someone to go with me.
She was very welcoming and make sure that we had everything we needed. There are a few places to eat in a walking distance if you didn’t want to cook 😅

My dog Zeus and I had a great time camping this weekend! We had a nice flat spot to set up our tent and a picnic table to hang out at during the evening. The bathroom is small but very convenient. They do provide a cooler, trash can and bug spray just in case you need them, which is very helpful.
The Daily Planet diner is maybe a 60 second walk away and allows dogs in the patio. Additionally there’s a few state parks in easy driving distance so Constance’s place was in a good spot for us.

I had a lovely stay at Constance's place. Plenty of space for tent camping. Availability of a bathroom was a nice bonus. As other noted there is some traffic noise but it's much less at night and convenience to the parkway was helpful to me. Communication was clear and easy. Would stay again!

It had just enough trees to provide shade during the day and a cozy, rustic atmosphere at night, making it ideal for families or small groups wanting a quick getaway without traveling far.
One of the best aspects of the campsite was how peaceful it felt despite being so close to home comforts. The evenings were quiet, with the sounds of crickets and the crackle of the fire creating a relaxing backdrop. There was plenty of space for kids to explore and adults to unwind, and the proximity to the house made it a stress-free option for those new to camping. Overall, this backyard campsite delivered the charm of the outdoors without sacrificing comfort, making it a fantastic choice for an easy, enjoyable camping experience.

This is a perfect place to stay and tour the surrounding area. It's backyard camping, with access to a shower, toilet, fresh water. Groceries, coffee, and fuel available close by. Just set your GPS to "avoid highways", pick one of the many, close by, historic sites and enjoy the beauty of the Hudson valley.
Constance was a great host having firewood and a firepit ready to go, a picnic table, outdoor candles, and a tiki torch. She checked in with us making sure we had everything we needed for our stay.
We visited Bethel Hills, site of the Woodstock Music Festival which took us on a ride through the mountains east of the Catskills. Also, FDR's home and farm, which is a national park, where there are wooded trails and dog are allowed!

I stayed just one night and had everything I needed. The host was very kind and welcoming despite not really expecting me since my booking was last minute and I arrived before the notification was received. The space was well maintained, spacious, and there was shade and a flat spot for my tent. Full disclosure, this is a backyard kind of set up next to a pretty busy road but it was fine for my needs while passing through. I was camping alone, had few supplies with me, and was grateful for access to the gas station and coffee shop within walking distance.

When we arrived we were delighted with the campsite that they had set up for us: There were 5 citronella candles burning, and 4 cans of bug spray lined up on the table! There was a nice little garbage receptacle that kept things neat and tidy. This was all a very thoughful surprise!
The items we booked were the fire pit, picnick table, and water, the fire was already started and there was ample high quality firewood to keep it going, the water option was 2 Poland Spring gallons jug bottles, and the picnick table was the big wooden kind that fits a crowd.
Communication prior to arrival was great and upon arrival we were greeted and welcomed with such helpful friendliness and big smiles.
We had an amazing time!
Oh wait I also got the farm fresh eggs! They come from the farm next door. I don't eat eggs myself but I got them as a souvenir of my trip upstate to give my family when I see them next weekend.

I had a great experience with Constance and camping there! I was a late arrival 11:30pm and they came out to show me the site and the restroom! I appreciated that after a long drive and tired. She was a great communicator and hostess! She even gave us a basket of fruit! So kind. The location is great. You can get gas nearby, a convenience store, and Dunkin’ Donuts! Thank you, Constance! I would stay again!
