I stayed here with 5 friends for a night. We had a spot right next to a creek with a fire pit, a running creek, and an outhouse nearby. Had a great stay.

This place was everything we were looking for and more. We had a group of nine for my brother’s bachelor party, and it turned out to be the perfect weekend getaway. We had the entire 90-acre site to ourselves, built a massive fire using fallen trees on the property, and set up nine individual $20 Amazon tents.
There were wide open fields for playing sports, a nearby stream to freshen up and wash our cooking gear, and—surprisingly—no bugs at all. Our host, Solomon, was fantastic. He checked us in, gave us space for the rest of the weekend, and even brought a porta-potty right to our campsite.
The stars at night were unbelievable—we saw countless shooting stars—and the peace and quiet made it feel like we were miles away from everything. This was our first time camping somewhere more private instead of a commercial campground, and I’d do it again every time.
A few people with Verizon had service, while those with T-Mobile didn’t, but that was actually part of the charm. Overall, a 10/10 experience. Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing beautiful relaxing place. Solomon was a wonderful host. Came with an RV, he let us know where the best spot for it was, mountain views, open field, near the forest with a creek to swim in. Simple, lovely, near some cute towns. Perfect place to unwind and would come back.

When I booked the site I thought it would be great but didn't expect to have such a perfect trip. I've never seen my 17 year old dog have a better time in his whole life. The grounds are exquisite, the accommodations are clean and wonderful, Soloman is easy-going and as hands-on or -off as you request (I wanted complete solitude and that's what I got). Beyond the "base camp" is hiking and creeks and streams to explore and there's a beautiful stream to enjoy while at base camp. Go to sleep and wake up to the soothing babble of the stream. Have a refreshing rinse in the stream as desired or just soak it up from the sidelines. Everything is extremely clean including the hand built, spacious wooden outhouse. Bring a camp stove or use the fire pit provided. I suspect water could be provided as needed but I brought my own so I didn't need to find out. I definitely highly recommend this spot for a quiet getaway or rest stop in your larger travels.

Overall the experience was a positive one, though things were a little bit different than expected.
The host Solomon was generous, sharing eggs from the ranch, mint from the stream side and recommendations. It was great to hear about his plans for the unique property.
I was not imagining as many buildings as are present. Yes, unoccupied, and therefore private, condemned home made for a curious vista.
There was some street/neighbor noise, more light pollution than I was hoping. Skies were clear 2 nights - gazing from the fire pit or in the shadow of the A frame was wonderful.
Other neighbors were goats, 2 trained/leashed German Sheppard dogs.
Solomon checked in a few times about my how my stay was going and offered me another area in the ranch for tent camping, and made sure I was well situated in the woods. Much more private, quiet (though music), and tranquil.
The bathroom and kitchen facilities are close to the main house, a short walk from the A frame. There is a shower. Due to the state of renovations in this space, I prepared food fireside, and had a wilderness wee or used facilities while out in town.
Bathroom is up a flight of stairs through the garage— could be an accessibility issue for some.
Stickers/signs such as NRA “conceal carry ok” and “smile! you’re on camera” in garage and around. Including this detail as I haven’t see personal politics in Hipcamps before.
Overall, a nice structure, attentive host, great breeze through the window, very memorable.

A great spot if you're looking for peace, solitude, and a deep connection with nature. The camping is very basic, so come prepared—but it's all part of the charm.
Solomon was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. There's even a large pond perfect for a refreshing swim.
The surrounding area is full of gems—local breweries, great restaurants, and plenty of forests to explore on foot or by bike.

This was a last minute booking as I had to recuperate early the next day and Salomon was super accommodating.
I got there late so it was quiet and peaceful and got to set up my Tacoma with an RTT next to a great little stream in the woods.
Stayed up staring at the stars next to a fire and couldn’t be more pleased.
Will be back for sure.

I am a solo camper who loves to explore, camp, and get away from the constant hustle and bustle of the city. In my search to escape I soon stumbled apon the magical forest a little nook hidden away in the Catskills, that more than lived up to its name. Not only was the host accommodating and friendly, but more importantly I was greeted by majestic German shepherd that lead me to the trails. Shout out to Hank! But truly if you are looking for a great solo, or group camping spot I could not recommend this location enough.

If you’re looking for a German Shepherd they’ve got some good studs up there.

Amazing experience! If you love nature and primitive camping this is the place. Close to Delaware river, lakes and many other attractions you might look into, not to mention the privacy in the middle of nature you get. Loved it

This campsite was driving distance from any mountains we really wanted to hike, as there weren’t really trails to hike from here. We were led to one of the first campsites, which was not as densely forested as the pictures seemed. There were more ticks than usual for the area. The shower was out of order so we didn’t get use out of to it. Given that this site is primitive and not what we expected, it felt overpriced, even for a holiday weekend. Wish we were shown around a bit more or given a map, because it may have been a better experience than what we had. We wound up driving out to Slide Mountain reserve, which was breathtaking, and offers campsites for free on a first come first serve basis.

This is an unexplored campground that everyone should experience at least a night on. If you want peace and relaxation, this is the place for you to disconnect.
Your host Sam will take great care of you if you're a first timer camping.

I camped in my Jeep by the creek. Was just able to squeeze it in. Very level sight with relaxing sound ambience. Animal tracks everywhere in the snow-covered field adjacent. It’s an amazing property with several pick-your-own areas and experiences, and plenty of 4-wheel type trails lacing through it. Hosts are super-accommodating. Highly recommend!

Debbie answered our questions, but her responsiveness varied. Unfortunately her responsiveness varied and we sometimes did not get some of our questions answered by the time we arrived at the site.
Solomon greeted us when we arrived. He was very nice & informative.
Some of the listing information was inaccurate. E.g. the bathroom availability is listed as time windowed. when we arrived, though, Solomon said we could use the bathroom whenever we needed to. Wish we knew this beforehand. The listing also says there is firewood for sale, but when we went they had run out and we had to buy some from nearby. (Debbie did let us know ahead of time, but only after we asked about campfires.)
We liked that the site was quite secluded from any main roads. We were the only ones on the site and our dog loved having all the space to run around. We kept hearing gunshots during the day across the river, which we were not prepared for. Hunting season is on but it would have been nice to have been warned in advance so we could've prepared clothing in brighter colors for safety etc.
We found ticks on our dog once we got back. We didn't go on any hikes for this trip so it could only have been from the campsite. I guess the campsite doesn't treat for ticks.
The river running through the site was great, we were able to use it to wash our dishes and also to put out the fire before going to sleep. I'd recommend this site if it was treated for ticks and there was no hunting.

I had a lovely time! I prefer camping at the end of season as there is less people and I don't mind the cold. So the peace and quiet was exactly what I was looking for. The place is very well kept, there's a bit of uneven driving but if your car can handle it it's worth the drive! Host was very polite and welcoming when I checked it, I would highly recommend!

We had a great time meeting with the host Solomon and his pet animals whom were so friendly. We were happy we got a chance to interact with them. The host extended gestures of kindness towards us when we got stuck or needed something. The land was big and beautiful, we parked our tent in a nice clearing. We hope to come back again!
